Choosing a photographer to capture one of the most intimate days of you and your partner’s lives is no small feat. I'm here to loudly love on ALL my couples. These are images you’ll hold onto forever and pass down for generations to come, so trust is essential. With two decades of travel experience, I’m not only comfortable navigating the intricacies of international travel but also thrive on the excitement of exploring new destinations. Whether you choose to elope with only the mountains as your witness, or have the big white wedding of your dreams, I can’t wait to celebrate your love.

Every couple has a unique story and way of expressing their love. My goal as a photographer is to capture that narrative in a way that feels authentic and genuine to YOU. We don’t live in a Pinterest board, and your gallery should be so much more than a checklist of poses. It’s about telling the beautiful story of your love and capturing the little moments in between. I strive to create a comfortable atmosphere where you can be yourselves, letting your story unfold in front of my lens. Whether it's the laughter shared during a quiet moment or the tears of joy during your vows, I’m here to document it all.

Julia is the best! She has a great eye for photos. She knows how to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera. She took our photos for our court house wedding and we hired her to do our reception photos next year because we liked them so much. If you’re looking for someone who can capture your special moments she is a great option. Her pricing is very reasonable. Also she is just easy and fun to work with! She really went above and beyond. Typically, couples book me 8-12 months before their wedding or elopement date. Especially for ceremonies taking place outside of Oregon, Washington, or the United States. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. I sometimes have weekends available last minute and weekdays are almost always free.

I edit all of your BEST photos (and there will be many!). All final images will be professionally edited by me, not an outside company. So if you have any questions I will be able to best assist you.

I do not offer video at this time, however, I have a list of vendors I could recommend!

My turnaround time varies by season, but all weddings and elopements will receive a sneak peek gallery within 24-48 hours of your big day. These sneak peek galleries typically include close to fifty images from throughout your day. During slower months my turn around for a full gallery is closer to four weeks, and during my peak season the turn around is closer to eight. Why does it take that long? I pride myself in my attention to detail and spoiling my couples with MASSIVE galleries. If your gallery looks like it's going to take closer to that eight week mark, then I'll send you an additional sneak peek gallery after your first month.

Sometimes events are out of our control. It's stressful when that happens, but rest assured I have backups on backups of trusted industry professionals (who I have worked with a vetted) that I have on speed dial in case of an emergency. I promise you will not be left without a photographer, and I will spare no expense to get them where they need to be.

Sometimes! I feel comfortable and confident to shoot your celebration on my own, but for larger weddings, a second shooter is highly recommended or required. I have a short list of photographers I have trained to match my style, and they will only improve your overall gallery by capturing additional angles and moments that I was unable to.

For all of my weddings I always bring two cameras and record to multiple memory cards. All of my sd cards are at a maximum two years old to prevent any issues. After the wedding, I place the memory cards in a fully waterproof, hardshell container, and store them in a safe environment until I can successfully back them up to my computer. Once I sort the images I store two copies on my computer and one copy on an external hard drive. Finally, once I deliver the images to you and your partner, it is up to you to save them on your computer, Google photos, Dropbox, etc. In my three years photographing weddings, I have NEVER lost a single photo.

Yes! Absolutely! All of my couples can schedule a planning call with me once they have booked their wedding or elopement. It's your day, I'm just there to guide you.

Whether it’s your first time abroad or you’re seasoned travelers yourselves, I’ll guide you every step of the way, helping to plan your trip, researching thoroughly in advance, and even arriving early to scout locations. I'm confident troubleshooting on the go and always have backup plans to ensure your journey is seamless and stress-free.
