I am a photographer, coordinator, artist, friend, and romantic documenting unscripted moments of life and love. I have that wedding-day giddiness when I photograph weddings, which I absolutely love documenting. I am always honored to be a part each and every wedding I photograph and to capture those important moments!

I am based out of the St. Michaels/Easton area, and have over 10 years of experience photographing weddings from Maryland to Virginia. After living in Virginia for several years, I am happy to be back on the Bay where I grew up, which makes me very fond of blue crabs and sailing! I am a no-stress person and tend to have a calming effect on my brides. I listen to each and every bride and groom to find out your story and try to portray your unique love and personality in my images, rather than posed expressions. Laura is phenomenal!!! She did our photos for both our engagement session and our wedding - our friends and family cannot stop talking about how amazing our photos were! Laura is so responsive and knows how to maximize time while giving prompts to get the best photos. Her & Shayla were fantastic for our wedding day, both in the moment and the results afterward.

Laura's Focus Photography went above and beyond all our expectations. It's honestly hard to put into words just how grateful we are for Laura's exceptional work. Saying we're impressed doesn't even come close! Every time my husband and I revisit our wedding photos, it's like reliving those magical moments all over again. Each image brings back such fond memories of our special day, and being able to share those moments with our loved ones has been incredibly rewarding, all thanks to Laura's incredible talent. Laura and her team were absolutely amazing! She was professional, timely, and really helped our day go smoothly. We had some rain that ended up changing much of our original plans but she handled it all so well and had so many great ideas. We were easily able to add more time (for a fee) so that I could get all the pictures I wanted. Additionally, she had a sneak peak done within just a few days so that I could share pictures with people that weren't able to attend (which were absolutely incredible!!) . I could not thank Laura and her team enough and cannot wait to see all my photos!
