I was reluctant to hire a wedding planner just to save the cost, but I have to say Megan was so worth the extra money, not just to give my wife peace of mind the event would run smoothly and on time, she was punctual when needed. On wedding day she was running around everywhere making sure that the venue was kept in order and the things. She gave a timeline down to every five minutes and pretty much kept to it, but was extremely flexible to change. As the groom, I had little to worry about to begin with haha, but I definitely saw the work that Megan put in. Of course it had to rain on the wedding day, but she had a full Contingency plan in place weeks before making it only a mild inconvenience. Her communication skills were immaculate. We video chatted with her several times, leading up to the event, making sure everything was in order. This included a final walk-through a few weeks prior to wedding day meeting at the venue to make sure that we had planned would work. As they say, happy wife, happy life. From the jump, she took us under her wing and answered any and all questions we had, was extremely attentive, and made us feel comfortable and prepared. She met with us multiple times leading up to the wedding, and always came prepared with outlines, itineraries, and details that we would have never thought of! Our ceremony and reception set up was done exactly the way we had described and even exceeded expectations when we told her to use her creative liberties! I am the type to stress about details and worry about things running smoothly, but on our wedding day, I didn’t think twice about anything but enjoying the day. We knew Renee had it handled. If I thought of something last minute to bring up to Renee she would immediately say with ease, “we have it handled, don’t worry about a thing!!” I can’t emphasize how much that meant to us. My biggest advice to anyone planning a wedding would be to book a wedding planner and to get RENEE!!!! We will forever look back on our wedding knowing we, and everyone at our wedding, fully enjoyed every second and were not swept up in day-of tasks and duties.
