Wedding Planner and Coordinator

I have been planning events for the last 20 years, on the side. I have always loved hosting people, and I've done a few bridal and baby showers. At my previous job, I helped plan several employee luncheons and holiday parties, with about 100-150 employees attending. I even led the planning a few times. In the summers of 2021 and 2022, I became an on-site wedding coordinator for a local venue, with 5 weddings each summer. In 2023, I coordinated 11 weddings, and in 2024, I coordinated and planned 17 weddings. I'm halfway booked up for 2025!

I have always loved event planning. I am extremely organized, have a great attention to detail, an eye for what matters, and I love helping people. This translates so well into event planning - staying organized with all the different aspects that go into an event, making sure details aren't missed (but neither is the big picture) and making sure people feel like their event was successful with my help! Helping people gives me a connection to people that I might not normally connect with. I know that my help makes your life better. This business makes me feel like I am doing something real, something that really matters to people.

Erin was the absolute best! We could not recommend her more. We knew we were in good hands from our first meeting and all communications before the day but were still absolutely blown away day of with how incredible Erin is! She was so helpful, calm and collaborative. Our day was genuinely stress free and flowed so well and I mean it when I say it was all because we had her on our team! Cannot recommend Erin enough!!!

We hired Erin as our day-of coordinator, and we’re so glad we did. We hired her because we wanted someone with experience in putting on weddings to help us with planning and details. She was invaluable in this capacity. First, we explained to Erin the type of event we wanted to hold and what was most important to us. In the lead up to the wedding, we came to Erin with schedules, lists of things we needed to buy, etc, as well as questions for how to bring our visions to life. She responded to these communications promptly, and provided useful feedback that not only showed her depth of experience in planning events, but also her understanding of our personal vision. In the planning process, we had an issues with one vendor, and she helped us navigate this situation, providing us advice for how to handle communications with the difficult vendor, as well as helping us find a new vendor. Finally, on the day of the wedding itself, she was amazing. It rained on our wedding day, causing us to have to change a good number of plans pretty last-minute. Erin helped us rework our plans to accommodate the weather, coordinating guests who were helping us to bring these new plans to fruition, and did so with a calm and confidence that made us feel like everything would be ok. Erin truly cares about helping couples host amazing weddings. We felt we had someone we could count on throughout the whole process.

I've been planning events, and a couple of weddings, throughout my entire life. I love hosting! At my previous job, I was on several committees to help plan employee events, and then eventually became head of those committees. These events had 100+ people at them. I started partnering with a local venue to help them coordinate weddings in 2021, which really got me going into the wedding biz! Last year, in my first year of business, I coordinated 11 weddings. In 2024, I have 16 weddings booked so far, and I'm booking into 2025 already!

I'm mostly a one woman show! That is, I really like the coordination aspect of weddings (and events), and bringing all of the pieces together to make one incredible event for you! I can bring on an assistant to help me, especially if we are starting from a non-wedding location (like a backyard). I help with layout beforehand, so setup goes faster and smoother. I like to start with all of the hardscape items, like tents and furniture, then move onto linens and decor. Flowers and anything that could melt go last. I love working with your friends and family to make things go faster!

Over the years, just about everything. I have experience with setting up and running large, public events with thousands of people. I have done baby and bridal showers. I have done surprise parties, adult birthday parties and retirement parties. I can help with larger dinner parties and rehearsal dinners. I also help with fundraisers and galas.

That's a great question! I offer all of my clients unlimited communication, which means I'm not tracking the time I talk to you. You can text me or call me, email or DM me, and I do video chats too. I'm open with that communication because I know that you are busy and trying to plan in your down time, which means you may need to text me at 8 pm to ask a question! I want you to feel supported by me and to get questions answered immediately. Right now, this works for my business! On your wedding day, the hours I am coordinating for you are based on the package you choose.
