My event philosophy is centered around the people. Not just the couple, but all the wonderful friends and family who are sharing this day with you. Decorations are an important and lovely part of a wedding, but I try to always remember why we spend all this time and resources on a party - because we want the people we love to celebrate with us. If this sounds like your priority, we will probably be a good fit!
I was a project manager for 10 years before planning my own wedding. I had always thought the skills would translate well to wedding planning, and boy was I right! Over the course of months of research, spreadsheets, and plumbing the depths of my project management skills, I realized people are expected to plan their weddings without the benefit of professional training, and then never use those skills again. Let’s bring your vision to life without all the stress!

Amazing at what she does!
Kaila is such an amazing choice for your day-of coordinator! She is professional and knowledgeable about the wedding industry, and has great recommendations to help your day run smoothly. She will go above and beyond pre-wedding and on the day-of to make sure you have a stress free day. I highly recommend Rose & Fern Events!
Kaila Eased My Mind
Kaila is really great! We hired her as our day-of coordinator for our recent micro wedding and it was absolutely one of the best decisions we made. She was able to advise us on the event timeline, toast procedure, etc. in the months leading up to the big day, which was incredibly helpful since we'd never done this before. She also attended our rehearsal and helped make sure everything ran smoothly and everyone knew the plan. She was great at collaborating with our officiant during this process as well. But it was the day of the event when she really shined. As the bride, I didn't want to have to think about any logistics at the venue while I was getting ready and with Kaila, I didn't have to! She sent me one quick question via text that morning that I was glad to weigh in and otherwise, she totally took care of the rest. The venue looked amazing, everything ran like clockwork, and she made sure to keep us in the loop when (and only when) it was necessary. She even brought us some appetizers to snack on while we were waiting on a vendor to arrive to bustle my dress so that we didn't miss out on our own food! If you're looking for a great partner to provide just that little extra coordination the day of your event, I highly recommend Kaila!
Invaluable Day of Coordinator!
Kaila was our Day of Coordinator for our wedding in Silverton, OR. She was always there to answer questions and prompted us with insightful questions during regular video calls on all aspects of the wedding. Having a seasoned pair of eyes on our timelines, seating arrangements, and vendor orders helped avoid problems we weren’t even aware of. During the rehearsal and the day of the wedding, Kaila took charge and lifted the stress of coordinating the wedding so we could focus on each other and those we love. It made all the difference. We highly recommend her!
Amazing day-of coordinator!
Kaila was incredible to work with! I am convinced it would not have been the same day without her diligent work and sunny demeanor. Our planning meetings were productive and she offered tons of insight to things we didn't think of. From rehearsal she taught us how to be in a wedding ceremony, to the day of she seemed to be right where we needed her most!
