My event philosophy is centered around the people. Not just the couple, but all the wonderful friends and family who are sharing this day with you. Decorations are an important and lovely part of a wedding, but I try to always remember why we spend all this time and resources on a party - because we want the people we love to celebrate with us. If this sounds like your priority, we will probably be a good fit!

I was a project manager for 10 years before planning my own wedding. I had always thought the skills would translate well to wedding planning, and boy was I right! Over the course of months of research, spreadsheets, and plumbing the depths of my project management skills, I realized people are expected to plan their weddings without the benefit of professional training, and then never use those skills again. Let’s bring your vision to life without all the stress!

    So great to work with. We used her services from the very beginning to help us find a venue, all the way to day of coordination. She is incredibly organized and detail oriented, making sure we had regular meetings along the way to stay on top of everything, and was always available over email or text for recommendations or reassurances. The week of the event, she was the one communicating with all our vendors to ensure they knew when/where they were supposed to be. She made sure that WE thought about the minutiae that would have never occurred to me (what's the plan for refilling water at dinner?) and the whole day went absolutely perfectly. Thank you so much!

    My wife and I had been on the fence about getting a wedding coordinator, thinking that we could manage our big day ourselves and with the help of our friends. But as the day grew nearer, we realized we would need some outside help. Enter: Kaila. She responded to our inquiry the same day, and we set-up a time to meet to discuss our wedding. We left that initial consult knowing that she would be the right choice! We had A LOT of questions, but every time we met, Kaila had answers or suggestions. She was patient with us when we were still deciding about certain aspects of the wedding and flexible when we wanted to adjust things later on. And she was always prompt in her responses to our emails! Having her take the reins the day-of reduced our stress immensely, allowing us to enjoy each and every moment of our wedding. She helped with setting up decor, worked closely with our vendors, and actively communicated with the wedding party to make sure everything ran smoothly. Our wedding was perfect, and having Kaila to help was absolutely critical for making it so. We wholeheartedly recommend Rose and Fern Events! Thank you so much, for everything!
