Hi there! We’re Matt and Alex, the husband-and-husband duo behind Twig & Leaf. We’re passionate about creating unforgettable, love-filled celebrations, inspired by our own story and the belief that every couple deserves a wedding as unique as their journey. With Matt's eye for detail and Alex's organizational skills, we bring creativity, structure, and heart to each event. Based in Charlotte and always ready to travel, we’re here to make your vision come to life with care, fun, and a stress-free experience you’ll treasure forever.
As a married LGBTQ+ couple and a veteran team (in part), we bring a unique perspective and deep understanding to wedding planning. Our journey has given us a strong appreciation for the diversity of love and the importance of inclusivity, making every couple feel celebrated and valued. The discipline and adaptability from military service, combined with our shared passion for love stories, allow us to create well-organized, heartfelt, and personalized celebrations that truly reflect our clients' visions.

| Description | This includes but is not limited to: Initial Consultation & Vision Development, Budget Management, Venue & Vendor Selection, Design & Decor Planning, Timeline Creation & Management, Attire & Styling Assistance, Stationery & Invitation Coordination to include RSVPs, Guest Management & Accommodations, Day-of Coordination & Execution Post-Wedding Assistance | Destination wedding planning is the same price as our traditional wedding planning package with travel and boarding added in. | This package is for weddings with thirty guests or fewer and is treated like a full-size wedding. If it's an elopement the cost of travel and boarding will be added. | Day-of Coordination includes a team of two to handle whatever you need! We will assist with Timeline creation and management, coordinate with vendors, assist with setup and teardown, and bring an emergency kit. Day-Of coverage also includes 1 of us attending the rehearsal to make sure everything for the ceremony runs smoothly. We also offer wedding management, which starts at three months before, for $3500! Amazing & Delightful
Twig & Leaf is a truly exceptional wedding planning team run by a passionate power couple. Their communication style is clear, efficient, informative and engaging, putting all involved at ease. The quality of their work is simply beautiful, elegant, magical, elevated and charming. During the wedding rehearsal, they were incredibly helpful and informative, ensuring everyone was comfortable with the ceremony flow. Twig & Leaf genuinely cared about the couples vision and dedicated time to precision in bringing it to life. Communication throughout the process left everyone feeling confident in how the big day would unfold. I highly recommend Twig & Leaf - they are a five-star planning team that deserve a chef's kiss!

Twig & Leaf were an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Matt and Alex's communication was consistently quick, helpful, and supportive throughout the entire month-of we had hired them for, and offered to answer any questions leading up to our contract date. They were incredibly organized and passionate about ensuring our wedding day was exceptional. Matt and Alex made sure our timeline was communicated across all vendors to guarantee a smooth flow to the day. They also went above and beyond to support us through some last-minute changes and helped resolve any issues that came up. Matt and Alex are truly fantastic wedding coordinators - they had fun with us at the wedding while continuing to provide caring support to my husband and I. I would highly recommend Twig & Leaf to any couple looking for an organized, exceptional, and fun wedding planning experience.
The BEST!!
If I could give 100 stars I would. Matt and Alex were absolute miracle workers on our big day and made sure that everything went off without a hitch. They set everything up perfectly and with time to spare. My favorite part was them slipping my husband and me drinks as we were pulled in different directions. Always made sure we were taken care of. I would recommend them to everyone because they were nothing short of amazing!

I can’t say enough about these two! They really helped to ease my mind during the planning process and help to achieve the aesthetic that we wanted. Day of, they were great with assisting in set up and always made sure I had a little mimosa juice and food before the ceremony. Our pictures came out great, everything went off without a hitch. I am so grateful for them and feel like they’re truly our friends now!
