Christmas Wedding
The Carriage house was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue. The food was perfect, the staff were helpful and kind and coordination with Katie went perfectly. There was not one thing that went wrong day of and we would highly recommend this venue for anybody who wants an easy going, stress free, well organized event.
Rockwood
The Carriage House in Rockwood Park was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we stepped foot on the historic property, we were captivated by the beautiful, historic charm of the grounds. The staff was professional and attentive. The food was amazing - our guests raved about how delicious everything was. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding celebration.

We had the most incredible experience hosting our wedding at the Carriage house! It has been taken over by Prime Hospitality catering who did an amazing job from start to finish! Our guests raved over the food, waitstaff, and bartenders! Katie and her team took care of every single aspect of our wedding which allowed my husband and I, our families, and our bridal party to be stress free and enjoy the day! I could go on and on about how amazing our wedding day was! Not a single thing went wrong, Katie and her team decorated the venue beautifully, the service was fantastic, and our guests continue to reach out about how beautiful the wedding venue was. It was better than I could’ve ever expected! I hope that the Carriage House starts to see an increase in weddings at their venue because they are truly amazing at their job! Katie coordinated and helped me with planning the wedding out from day 1. She worked relentlessly behind the scenes to ensure we had a great day. The food was the best wedding meal I have ever had and I’m not just saying that because I had my wedding here. The restaurant associated with the caterers “Brandywine Prime” makes amazing food. I will admit when initially wedding planning I was unsure of the carriage house due to the lack of online presence and photos of recent weddings. It is truly a hidden gem and definitely worth considering for your wedding day!!
Very Unprofessional
My experience as a guest at a wedding at the Carriage House in Wilmington, Delaware left me deeply disappointed. The venue coordinators, two women, were shockingly unprofessional and seemed to go out of their way to tarnish the bride and groom's special day. It was painful to witness the bride's unraveling as a result of the way these coordinators treated her and her new spouse. The bride's parents were also visibly upset by the behavior of these two women, casting a shadow over what should have been a joyous occasion. I can't emphasize enough how unprofessional and upsetting their conduct was throughout the evening. I'm sharing this review as a cautionary tale to any future bride and groom considering the Carriage House as their wedding venue, especially if these same coordinators are in charge. It's essential to ensure that your special day is managed by professionals who truly care about making it a memorable and stress-free experience.
