Simply elegant, clean slate for any vision, a Hudson Valley treasure

Light, airy and serene, the River Room features floor-to-ceiling windows for stunning views of the river and access to alfresco decks and terraces, all with the same lovely views. Designed by internationally renowned designer Tony Chi, it is furnished in a palette of cream, mushroom and sage as a neutral background for your wedding décor. This spacious banquet space can accommodate up to 210 for dinner and dancing.

Surrounded by lush greenery and blooming flowers, our ceremony garden provides a peaceful and serene setting for exchanging vows. The stunning background of the Hudson Highlands creates a truly unforgettable experience for you and your guests. Constructed of interwoven bittersweet vines, the pergola can be left natural or decorated with flowers and greenery. With the Hudson River and surrounding Highlands as backdrops, the north-westerly facing garden frequently has unforgettable sunsets.

Hudson Room

Simply elegant, clean slate for any vision, a Hudson Valley treasure

Connected to the River Room by a glass hallway, and situated between the Ceremony Garden and the River Room, the Hudson Room is ideal for post-ceremony cocktail receptions. Designed by Sharon Davis Design Studio, the space is fresh and uplifting, and accommodates over 200 people for cocktails. With glass all around, the building brings the outdoor greenery in and allows for a lovely visual flow from the Ceremony Garden all the way through to the River Room.

    From our first conversation with The Garrison, my husband and I felt completely at ease and confident that they would bring our wedding vision to life. Their communication was prompt, supportive, and consistent throughout the entire planning process. On the day of our wedding, we didn't have to worry about a single thing - the team had everything under control. They collaborated seamlessly with our other vendors to ensure a flawless event flow. The Garrison's attention to detail and organization was unparalleled, and the views from their venue were simply breathtaking. We were blown away by the incredible value we received for the space, service, and execution of our special day.     From the moment we booked our wedding at The Garrison, their communication was always responsive, anticipatory, and truly excellent. The quality of their work and overall value was fantastic - no ask was too much, and they accommodated our needs and exceeded our expectations at every turn. My bridal attendant, Fatima, was an absolute lifesaver and I am so grateful she was with me on our special day. The Garrison team made our wedding day perfect, and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

    The Garrison itself is absolutely stunning - even more beautiful in person - and the staff was warm, attentive, and professional throughout. Our guests are still raving about the food, and the entire space came together perfectly for both the ceremony and reception. What really made the day seamless, though, was the team that supported us. Annie, our day-of coordinator, was an absolute godsend. We were juggling unpredictable weather, miscommunications, and a whole lot of last-minute uncertainty, and she handled it all with such calm, measured grace. She kept things on track and gave us the gift of peace of mind - we truly couldn’t have done it without her. Fatima, my bridal assistant, was my right hand from the moment I arrived. She anticipated every need before I even had to ask - always three steps ahead, always composed, always kind. I felt fully taken care of, which is exactly what every bride hopes for. We’re so grateful to the entire team - thank you for making our wedding day so beautiful and so easy to enjoy.

    We feel so incredibly lucky to have been married at The Garrison. The venue is so beyond stunning, combined with our fantastic photographer, our wedding pictures are truly the most beautiful photos we’ve ever seen. The scenery is so stunning and romantic. The venue works tirelessly to upkeep the property and they do a phenomenal job. We were catered to from the start of the day to the end. Anything we needed we knew Annie and Fatima had our backs. I got to meet Annie a while back, she very quickly eased any questions and concerns we had. We got to meet Fatima the day before the wedding and she was immediately ready to help and get us ready for our big day. We live out of state so getting everything organized was a bit messy on arrival, but between Annie and Fatima, they were ready to rip into the mess. So grateful for them to organizing the absolute perfect day for us. It could not happen without them. On top of the staff being so ready and receptive to us, the FOOD! The food was so beyond, every single one of our guests raved about how incredible the hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour, their meals were, and dessert! We are so lucky to have celebrated our love at this venue and we truly look forward to many anniversary visits in the future.
