I am Dakotah with Kota Video. I started this company with a passion for storytelling and it has grown into something I am incredibly proud of. I love filming weddings and capturing such special moments and the reactions I get from couples makes everything worth it. Kota Video will never farm out your wedding to other unknown shooters. Kota Video is owned and operated by Dakotah Douglas and partners with talented photographers to give you the best possible experience for your special day. I have developed a keen eye for cinematography over nearly 10 years of practice. I know what shots to get and dynamically add new ones for each location I shoot at. I know when and where to be at all times. This shines through in the editing room where it all comes together. We are friendly to couples of all races, ethnicities, gender identity, and sexual preference.

The Perfect Wedding Videographer!
Dakotah was our wedding videographer, and hiring him was one of the best decisions we made. He’s professional, friendly, and incredibly easy to work with. From our initial call to signing the contract, the wedding day itself, and the delivery of our videos, everything went smoothly. Two weeks before the wedding, we met over Zoom to go over the timeline and a few key moments we wanted captured. We only gave him a handful of must-have shots and left the rest up to his creativity and experience and he absolutely nailed it! We were a little nervous at first, since we're both a bit shy and awkward on camera. But he gently guided us through a few posed shots, and the rest of the time, we hardly noticed he was there until we saw the final video. That’s when we realized just how much magic he had captured. Even a couple of our guests commented on how he was like a ninja, somehow everywhere at once, capturing all the important moments, without ever being in the way or disrupting anything. He gave us space to be ourselves, and it really shows in the footage. He didn’t just record our day, he told a story. From the joy on our faces to the love and support from our friends and family, every moment was woven together so beautifully. Watching it back reminded us how special that day truly was, and how lucky we are to be surrounded by so much love. Being able to relive those memories means the world to us. On top of all that, Dakotah’s pricing was reasonable and clearly outlined on his website, no surprises at all. And his delivery timeline is incredibly fast for a wedding, just 30 days! We could not be happier with our wedding video! From start to finish, the process was smooth, the price was very reasonable, and the final product completely exceeded our expectations. The quality of the video is absolutely beautiful—every special moment was captured so naturally, and it truly feels like we get to relive our day each time we watch it. One of our favorite parts is how our videographer tied in my mom’s speech throughout the film. That thoughtful touch made the video so much more personal and emotional, and it’s something we’ll treasure forever. The Best Decision We Made for Our Wedding
We cannot recommend Dakotah enough he was truly a dream to work with from start to finish. From the very beginning, he was so easy to communicate with: professional, kind, responsive, and made us feel so comfortable while capturing our day. On the day of our wedding he was even kind enough to travel to multiple locations to make sure he got shots of my husband and I getting ready with our bridal parties since our venue didn't have a "getting ready" suite which was so kind of him. I know it definitely took a lot of stress off of myself. On the night of our wedding, he somehow managed to send us a sneak peek reel within hours and it was better than I could've dreamed of. When we received our full video package just four weeks later, we were completely speechless. He beautifully captured all the love, emotions, and excitement the day brought. We’ve cried every single time we've watched it. And trust me I've watched it a lot lol. If you’re considering booking him, do it. You will be so glad you did. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us a way to relive our wedding day forever.
