I’m contributing to a cash or honeymoon fund for a couple. Is there a handling fee?

We offer two ways for guests to contribute to cash funds, through Venmo or by credit card.

The Venmo option has no fees if the sender contributes using their Venmo balance, bank, or debit card.

Contributing to a cash fund using a credit card does incur a small fee. This handling fee covers the 2.5% credit card processing fee on cash gifts. It is charged by credit card companies to safely collect and transfer money online. All registries charge a fee for processing cash gifts using a credit card.

We're proud to offer both zero-fee and low-fee options.
