For over 90 years, The Warehouse has been at the center of Eclectic life. Built in 1928 for Lee Hornsby, the property has been in the family since the 1880s. It held commercial activity for cotton merchandising, lumber and hardware for 3 generations. In 1996, Aubrey Hornsby repurposed it as a social/cultural center. Its massive timbers, red brick walls, old-south charm, natural architectural comfort and grassy lawns inspire down-home livability. It has hosted The Alabama Cotton Festival, church/school events, concerts, theater, receptions and parties. Corporations have used it for photo shoots and as a sound stage. We have held over 600 events including 350 weddings. Upholding the historical structure, improvements have been made to ensure comfort and ease.

The Tuscaloosa River Market is located on the banks of the beautiful Black Warrior River in Tuscaloosa, AL. This rustic/industrial venue has a warm feel. It is the home of the City of Tuscaloosa Farmers Market, but transforms into a beautiful wedding venue with little effort. The space comes with banquet seating for up to 400 guests and standing room reception space for up to 800. The venue is versatile. It can be split into space for ceremony and reception with a line of pipe and drape to divide the room. Or you can utilize the stage for your ceremony and guests can be seated at reception tables during the event.
