While in London, I earned a distinction from The Royal Photographic Society for my documentary portrait work. I studied at the Brooks Institute of Photography and continued learning through workshops with 2MU, Jerry Ghionis, Parker Pfister, Brook Shaden, Cliff Mautner, and Paulina Duczman. I love what I do. I found my way to professional photography in a roundabout way, having started my working career as a marine scientist and environmental educator in CA and then on Maui.
