The Doniphan Event Center, a spacious 14,000 sq ft facility opened in 2013, was envisioned as a "Center for Community Unity" and a premier wedding destination. Driven by the Doniphan Economic Development Corporation (DEDC) after community surveys highlighted the need for such a space, the center became a reality thanks to the acquisition of 3.1 acres in 2011.
