Krutick Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,500
  • Serves Broadalbin, NY

Hi, I’m Richard, a wedding photographer based in the Hudson Valley. My passion is finding the beauty in the simplest moments and capturing them in a way that feels raw, real, and full of life. As a candid, photojournalist photographer, I’m all about ditching stiff poses to focus on the relationships, the laughs, and the genuine emotions that tell your distinct story. I aim to capture the little details and authentic moments that make your day uniquely yours.

Awarded Best of Zola
Richard Krutick is special. A special talent as well as a special man. He captured it! The day after our wedding he sent me a teaser gallery of what was to come. I was blown away. When planning my wedding the photographer was the most critical to me -I was picky. When I saw his work he turned my entire way of looking at my wedding around. Richard and I had over an hour-long conversation and we clicked. I, having a creative director background and working with photographers all my career, was thrilled because we spoke the same language. I wanted honest, documentary-style moments captured without noticing the presence of the photographer. He was there when you needed him and you liked him. My guests were saying what a warm and great guy he is. He got their personalities, each and every one of them. He looks at everything with a special eye. Right at the time of my outdoor wedding with the most beautiful view and lush floral arbor, it poured and didn't stop. Gravel walkways turning into mud, no bride or groom wants to see. He just grabbed the moments and ran with them. Pivoting, he captured the most creative and editorial images I could ever dream of. He took the storm and made it beautiful. I hope I will have another event, moment, fun-filled party, or cherished time that he can again capture so we can work with him again.

For Couples who are good at heart, that live for the seconds and party like no tomorrow. Capturing Authentic moments, focused on heartfelt storytelling. Based in the Southern Adirondacks, I have been wedding photographer for 15+ years now telling over 400+ wedding days.

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband Sean and I got married at the Blue Water Manor in June 2024. We are from northern NJ and took a chance on each of our vendors through their portfolios and online reviews. Jason went above and beyond what we could have ever expected from our photographer. Since we were from out of the area we had multiple phone calls to discuss timelines and specifics really helping us think of everything. Even met with us the week of to walk through the venue and other places we wanted to take photos, just rolling with it and helping us get exactly what we wanted. Nothing could have prepared us for the crappy weather we had the day of the wedding but Jason put a smile on with us and braved it. Never complained about how soaked he probably got and just did everything possible to help us have the best day. And we did. Every single one of our guests commented on lucky we were to have a photographer like him watching him in action and our photos speak to that. Even though our wedding day has come and gone we would still book Jason time and time again.

Fairytale Dreams Photography

I'm Cass, an Improviser Photographer from the Adirondack Mountains of Northern New York. Because this is my full-time career I have the time to dedicate to my clients. Rather than only taking pictures of you, I want to get to know you on a personal level. I like to establish a connection based on trust and honesty when taking photos. I am a photographer without cheesy trends, capturing the things that actually matter. REAL LIFE. What you see is what you get; so no over editing or too much posing. I dedicate my work to capturing real emotions in a fun and non-intrusive atmosphere.

Awarded Best of Zola
Cass is seriously AMAZING! We did our engagement, rehearsal and wedding photos with her and we couldn’t have asked for better pictures, we were blown away. In addition to the great photos, Cass is the absolute best to work with. Prior to the wedding, she went above and beyond to make me feel supported with all my questions and requests. I knew we were in great hands after our engagement shoot but she didn’t stop proving that the entire duration of the time leading up to our wedding. She also went out of her way by hiking with us to our first look location and by working non-stop with us to get the perfect shots of our pup. She is so fun and has a great way of making everyone feel comfortable. I had members of both the bridal party and wedding guests approach me and express how much they loved Cass. Do yourself a favor and book Cass for your next shoot, she definitely exceeded our expectations and is so fun to work with!

Welcome! And Congratulations! I am a Wedding & Family Photographer based in Plattsburgh, NY. I grew up in Charlotte, VT where I fell in love with Lake Champlain and all the beauty that Vermont has to offer. I now live in Rouses Point, NY and continue to be drawn by Lake Champlain and its charm. When I am not behind the camera capturing the authenticity of my clients moments I am spending quality time with my husband, his two beautiful children and our two dogs. We spend our summers on Lake Champlain and our winters inside the hockey rink. My love of photography started the moment I held my first camera. I hope to share that passion with you!

Our outdoor photos were beautiful. Kyla set clear thoughtful expectations during our consult. This lead to a tailored photo shoot with all the elements we hoped for and more! Donna Marie Photo Co.

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Broadalbin, NY

I’m Donna Marie—the introverted, hella awkward + nerdy, all about the vibes and adventure(ish) soul that you can typically find behind the camera (rather than in front of it). I'm here to serve + empower all the introverted, awkward in-front-of-the-lens, adventure(ish) couples who want to have an authentic, non-traditional wedding experience across upstate and northern New York. What matters most are the emotions you experience as your wedding day unfolds. Whether that be in a place with easy to reach epic views, or any place or location that embodies who you are. I’m your go-to gal when you decide to take control of your wedding day.

Donna Marie Photo Co. was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding photography. Donna's communication was top-notch - she was available for questions and planning every step of the way in the months leading up to our big day. On the wedding day itself, Donna rolled with the punches when our schedule got a bit delayed but still managed to capture all the moments beautifully. Most importantly, the quality of the photos is truly amazing. Donna managed to take artistic shots that perfectly encapsulated the style and emotion of our wedding. The final edited photos were delivered promptly. We could not recommend Donna highly enough for wedding photography services - her professionalism, flexibility and amazing talent made our photos everything we hoped for and more to document our special day.

Christopher Duggan Photography

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,950
  • Serves Broadalbin, NY

In the 20 years that I've been photographing professionally, I’ve honed my skill of knowing when to step in and make things happen, and when to step back and simply *allow* things to happen. Documenting the REAL emotion of the day is how we capture those picture-perfect moments. They happen organically, not by force, and I promise you: we're not going to miss ANY of them. = )

Awarded Best of Zola
Christopher Duggan Photography was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding day. From the first time we spoke, Christopher's put us at ease throughout the planning process - starting with our engagement shoot and then for the wedding day. His photos always feel natural, we were so comfortable posing for them and the results were beautiful! He and his team perfectly encapsulated the essence of our special event. Christopher has an amazing eye for detail and was so easy to work with, making us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. He is truly an amazing human being, not just a talented photographer - you can tell he genuinely loves capturing couples in their most joyful moments. We are thrilled with the final results and couldn't recommend Christopher Duggan Photography more highly. Our albums are absolutely gorgeous and will be family heirlooms we cherish forever.

I present fun, elegant, and exciting Wedding Photography for my clients. My style is photojournalistic; I feel it's the most effective way to tell a story. After all, there is so much happening on a wedding day. Between the ceremony, dancing, and endless extravaganzas, the most memorable moments will naturally occur.  My goal is to capture the emotions and memories of your day through my lens. These recollections are your forever keepsakes, a chapter of your life's story. Every image accounts for those who were by your side, delighted for you, and the next step in your journey. I appreciate you for giving me a few moments of your time.t

Their exceptional, professional, and quick work captured the essence of our special day perfectly. Sean was laid back and brought great energy to our wedding, seamlessly capturing all the important moments without ever being intrusive. We had nothing but a positive and truly exceptional experience working with Sean from start to finish. Not only were our photos top-notch, but he took the time to get to know us as a couple and was able to beautifully document all the candid, unscripted moments that made our wedding day so memorable. Rob Spring Photography is a wedding photography company in Saratoga Springs, New York. They specialize in candid wedding day photography with a fun twist. With a mix of contemporary and traditional styles, this photographer captures all the details on the couple's special day. Having photographed over 600 weddings, Rob Spring Photography knows how to make couples feel comfortable in front of a camera, or even forget it’s there!

Awarded Best of Zola
Our family has known Rob Spring for almost 15 years, all the way back to when he volunteered to photograph the Saratoga Spring High School Drama Club. He blew us away, so we then hired him to do my senior photos! We knew he was an exceptional photographer then - but seeing his company grow over the years has proven that he is truly a step above every other photographer in the area! Hiring him and his team for our wedding was a no brainer and we are so glad we did. Rob is not only an excellent, technically proficient photographer - he is truly an artist! His team is top notch - organized, kind, funny and helpful. Our concerns about uncertain weather and large unruly family photos quickly dissipated - Rob and his team are true professionals who know Saratoga venues like the back of their hand. They made everyone so comfortable and kept us smiling and laughing the entire day. Once the dust had settled, seeing the sneak peek photos a couple days later completely blew our mind! Our photos are more than we could've ever hoped for and truly captured the joy, love and beauty of that day. We've had friends from around the country inquire about Rob after seeing those photos - they are on a completely different level in terms of quality. If this review doesn't make it clear enough - hire Rob and his team. You will have absolutely no regrets.

PictureMeThisByLacie

  • Serves Broadalbin, NY

My husband is my second photographer, so we come as a photo team! Just like you, I have felt awkward in front of the camera. I’ve had photos taken of me that I didn’t like. When you go on a session with me, I will not only make you feel comfortable, but I will make sure you look good! I will give you prompts to keep you moving so you look and feel natural and comfortable. I’m sorry but there are some angles, and poses that are not flattering for everyone. Like, please don’t take a photo of me from below! Hello double chin! What I’m saying is, I Got You!

Awarded Best of Zola
Lacie captured moments that took my breath away. Her style and skill is every bride’s dream. She delivers everything you adore from those Pinterest and Instagram wedding photos. So there is no question she can deliver what she is looking for. And we are beyond thrilled with all of our photos. The sneak peeks are also so much fun (she sends a batch of photos shortly after she shoots you). But where Lacie shines and what I have to tell you about is everything else. She truly went above and beyond. She’s not just a photographer, she’ll be one of your favorite people on your special day. Yes, Lacie is kind and friendly and comforting and just the kind of person you need on your wedding day (and who you wished you roomed with in college). But she is so much more. Here are just some of the few meaningful things Lacie did that I noticed that I’ll forever carry with me. Firstly, I had a very important rosary I wanted to photograph, and with the chaos, I had forgotten. It would have broken my heart if I left it behind. Lacie remembered. I got fixated on an insignificant hiccup on my wedding day that could have ruined my day. Lacie redirected my attention to the things that really mattered and brightened up my mood immediately. Leading up to the wedding, Lacie advocated for me and my husband ensuring us she was fully dedicated to only us on the day, literally saying “You and Sean are my priority.” Nobody and nothing would take her attention away from us. She was always quick to respond to texts, I could go to her for quick wedding advice, and she’s genuinely so passionate about her craft. Lacie could really be a wedding planner with how much she knows. Other vendors loved working with her, especially our videographers. She was so quick, efficient, and took initiative. She gave them space and skillfully took turns capturing moments with them. With a big wedding party and spacious venue, we kept losing track of people for pictures, Lacie corralled them masterfully. She’s not afraid to get people to focus and get the photos done, but also in the most polite and respectful way. I watched videos of brides saying I wish this or that moment was captured. Sometimes I’d forget whether I had those moments captured myself. Then I go to Lacie’s photos and every single thing that brides mentioned got missed by their photographer she captured for me. Her vibe! She’s so positive and cheery. I was so nervous and also worried about how dark my church was. She got me excited about it after turning it into a positive saying it would look like the theater and she could absolutely work with it. I texted her a shoot list the night before our wedding. She carried that around and took it so seriously making sure she captured everything I listed. I made a Pinterest board of photos I liked and she remembered ones I forgot I included in there. She was my favorite vendor (tied with my incredible florist @dazyflorals) and the vendor I had no worries about it. I didn’t have to check in with her. I could trust her with my eyes closed. She’d be where she needed to be on time, professional, and prepared. I’m going to miss her. Sign her and soak up her sunshine for me, will ya?

Thalia is a NYC & destination wedding photographer based in Queens, NY. Being the lead photographer and owner of her business, she has 10 years of experience capturing engaged couples. It is difficult not to write this review entirely in all glowing all caps because Thalia's artistry truly gave us a gift of a lifetime. Thalia is an absolutely lovely person and a PHENOMENAL photographer. We could not love our wedding (and engagement) photos more! My husband and I could tell from our first introductory meeting that Thalia's energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism were precisely what we were looking for, but boy oh boy, did her pictures exceed these expectations. We wanted both editorial and documentary style shots, and we received a perfect blend of both. Thalia knows how and when to provide styling guidance as well as when to hang back in order to snap up all the organic moments too. So grateful that the best day of our life was captured with such care. Thank you, Thalia!!

Daniela Monzi Photo

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $6,200
  • Serves Broadalbin, NY

Daniela Monzi is a wedding and elopement photographer based in Philadelphia and San Francisco, available worldwide. Blending film and digital formats, she captures each celebration with intention and heart. Deeply passionate about couples celebrating their love their way, Daniela advocates for wedding days that feel true to who you are—filled with what brings you joy, and free of anything that doesn’t. She honed her craft at the San Francisco Art Institute, where she developed a distinctive style that merges fine-art composition with a candid, documentary approach. The result? Honest, artful imagery that tells your story exactly as it felt.

Awarded Best of Zola
My partner and I eloped last weekend at SF City Hall and just opened our sneak peek of Dani's coverage of the day... The photos are beautiful and so authentic to us as a couple. She did an incredible job and we are so happy that we were able to work with her. Throughout the process, Dani was very communicative and available to answer all of our questions. She also took the time to get to know each of us individually, our story as a couple, and our goals/hopes for the day which I think really contributed to her nailing the vibe we were going for. She helped us brainstorm how to get the most out of our 3-hour shoot time and we were able to get in an impressive amount of shots in two different locations without feeling rushed or stressed. Throughout the shoot, she did a great job balancing directing us with letting us just exist together, which resulted in really natural looking photos of us that don't have an overly-posed look. But she definitely got both of our good sides lol. She also handled a high-traffic wedding day at SF City Hall with grace-- there were lots of couples getting married at the same time and it took some coordinating to get the best shots, but she made it happen! Dani is warm, respectful and kind and brought exactly the kind of energy we needed to our wedding day! It goes without saying, but I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to commemorate their special day.

Our wedding day went off without a hitch, as she helped us create and stick to a schedule, making certain that everything moved seamlessly. Jessica and her assistant created a comfortable environment, ensuring that everyone was comfortable having fun (or at least pretending to laugh at her dad jokes). It truly felt like she was just there to celebrate us as a couple and our marriage, while take a few pictures along the way. The photos captured were not only beyond amazing, but also had a cozy, loving, and just genuine quality that perfectly reflected us and our day. Jessica has become more than just our wedding photographer - she's a new friend that we're so grateful to have been able to share this experience with.

Hey- I'm Nicole. When I'm not working with the raddest couples I'm typically brewery hopping with my wife, or home spending time with my three dogs. I live for SU basketball, and love just about any other Syracuse sports team (Crunch, Mets - count me in). I have been photographing weddings for over ten years, and in that time have had the opportunity to travel around the world and meet tons of new friends.

Awarded Best of Zola
TLDR: If you want photos that capture the true, vibrant goodness of your day then book Nicole! She is a consummate professional who can help even the most camera-shy (or averse) relax in front of the lens. The Deets: My husband and I loved working with Nicole from the very start! She was consistently kind, professional and punctual. Communication was easy and efficient! She made us feel like we were in such good hands. Since my husband is camera-averse, it was important for us to find someone who could make the process fun and relaxed. From the first minute of our engagement shoot Nicole made it clear that we were in the right hands! There was no pressure to “perform” and she just gave us little directives as we needed them. The mix of conversation and photo-taking was perfect to put even my husband at ease. Our wedding day continued the good vibes! Nicole and her second shooter were right on time and proceeded to be a dynamic duo. I had quite the laundry-list of portraits and they tackled them with ease. Where Nicole truly shines is in the unposed, natural moments of the day. She captured the mushy-lovey fun and tears all day, making sure to get those little moments of magic in between. Nicole worked seamlessly with my videographer as well. The two of them were less concerned about the rain of the day and more so with our comfort shooting in it. We were game and they both made that rain look like a paid actor! Nicole's photos beautifully reflect the syrupy rich colors I remember, grounding my experience of the wedding day. I can't thank her enough for reflecting the truth of our day so perfectly. Venue: Full Moon Resort, the Catskills (NY) Photo Package: 8-hrs with second shooter

She was attentive, thoughtful, and professional, and she provided amazing guidance to my husband and I who had never worked with a professional photographer before. Hi friend! I'm Becca. Ever since I was little, I wanted to listen to others stories and share them with others. As a result of a college photography class that I loved and my dad's love of nature photography, I was gifted a camera after graduation, and I never stopped! I started taking photos at a performing arts center and became mesmerized with capturing joy. I have been in the wedding industry since I was fourteen and have been taking photos professionally since 2019.

Becca was wonderful to work with, her talent really showed on our wedding day. I especially loved her ability to take photos in the moment. I never felt like I was dedicating too much time to photos during the wedding and I had a great time working with her. Becca is truly also such a kind individual, we had a DIY outside wedding and she always checked in with us asking if we needed any help or needed to take a break. That’s something above and beyond what any photographer needs to do. In addition, our photos came back super fast and were absolutely stunning. There was a ton of photos to look at days after the wedding which was great to be able to share with my family and friends. I would 100% recommend Becca to anyone looking for an engagement photo or wedding photographer she really captured more than I ever dreamed of with our photos and I really enjoyed working with her.

Hullo! So you're gettin' hitched (YaaY!), but you’re not super into the idea of the overly-manicured wedding. A+ for you, because this is not your parents’ wedding photography. I'm a farm kid who floats between the journalism and art worlds. I love telling stories as much as I love listening to the stories of others. I’m the type of person who makes up musicals for my own amusement and nurses a soft spot for sci-fi and fantasy. If I’m not taking photos, I’m usually dancing. Or cooking. It’s possible I may have a baking addiction and try to mitigate the damage by forcing the goods on loved ones.

Most wedding photography feels overly curated and predictable. I’ve seen the same 20 poses across different photographers, with prices all over the place. But let me tell you about Celia. We hired her for our engagement and wedding photos, and she was nothing short of amazing. From the start, Celia was incredibly responsive, offered great direction, and truly captured the youthful energy of my wife and me. If you’re searching for a photographer who not only documents the curated moments but also the spontaneous, unfiltered ones—while making every shot feel like a mix of Vogue, paparazzi, and playful fun—Celia is your person. I also want to highlight her incredible skill in photographing and editing people with melanin. It’s not something every photographer gets right. IYKYK. Celia’s work is never boring, never one-note. She brought our special day to life in a way we’ll cherish forever.

We worked with Kathryn for our October 2024 Hindu/Jewish blended wedding and were so happy with our decision!! We spoke with MANY photographers during the planning process trying to decide who fit our style and personality leading up to our wedding. Neither of us feel super comfortable in front of the camera so it was important to us that we found someone who truly fit us and what we were looking for. Kathryn's warmth, adventurous spirit, and genuine curiosity about us as a couple really stood out, and we immediately knew she was who we wanted to work with. We had a large wedding with many Hindu/Jewish traditions making the day busy & hectic, but Kathryn's professionalism and calm attitude made us feel at ease. We really appreciated how on top of it she was, sticking to our timeline and facilitating our rather large (and rowdy!) group, all while making the staged photos seamless and the candids from the reception/baraat so special and a true representation our special day. The colors are just magnificent, and we had many guests compliment her work, fun nature, and professionalism throughout the night. Thank you Kathryn for making our day so wonderful!!
