When planning my wedding the photographer was the most critical to me -I was picky. When I saw his work he turned my entire way of looking at my wedding around. Richard and I had over an hour-long conversation and we clicked. I, having a creative director background and working with photographers all my career, was thrilled because we spoke the same language. “I found Karl ages ago when I was looking for a photographer for my engagement shoot in New Orleans. The photos came out amazing. I was nervous at first since I had never had professional photos taken, but he was so kind and he made me feel at ease instantly. I couldn’t get enough of the photos once I received them. I love love love his use of natural light and the fact that all of his shots are unique and never those “forced” poses that every other photographer uses. I loved his work so much that I booked him for my wedding photos, then my maternity photos after that, and a few of my closest friends and family have also booked him for their weddings as well. I then spent a decade in New Orleans where I first began my photography journey and moved up to NYC to further pursue it. I'm fortunate enough to have several places to call home and while I work a great deal in the New England & the tri-state area, I'm proud to announce that I've accepted work at an international level this year. Traveling is one of my other great passions, along with music, so it's a perfect fit.
