After moving to Beacon, NY around the same time, it made sense to start an official wedding music business to share their love of music with some of the many happy couples getting married in the Hudson Valley. One thing they love about playing music for weddings is the variety that is required of them. Every gig is different and they all happen on one of the happiest days of the clients' lives!

“Justin and Jesse were absolutely incredible from the beginning to the end of the process. We stumbled upon them through Zola, actually, and I’m so glad we did. Our wedding was intentionally more laid-back, taking place on our property. It was incredibly important to us to every guest felt at home there, and that every vendor did as well. From the moment I first spoke with Justin, I could tell we found the perfect folks to play music for us! These guys are wonderfully easy to talk to, truly down to earth and play an impressive range of music sooooo well. For cocktail hour we asked them to do more southern, New Orleans style jazz which they did fantastically: perched on one of the hills facing the cocktail hour, they played keyboard and saxophone and really understood exactly the mood we were trying to set. Not fussy, rather relaxed and engaging and perfect for the day. During dinner, they played bluegrass under the tent and it was absolutely perfect. I had chosen the bluegrass and my husband chose cocktail hour music, and we were both over the moon at how it went. Justin stayed on to DJ our dance party and was an absolutely wonderful MC as well as just a fantastic party guest! If you’re looking for folks who seem to be able to play everything, are truly kind humans, really seem to care about all those around them, and are quite a blast to have your party - look no further! Thank you Justin and Jesse for everything, we were so honored to have you with us that day!”

Rob took the time to text or set up whatever zoom calls we felt we needed. For the actual day, Rob was amazing. We had dinner service, reception, and "after party". Robs killed it with his flow between songs, and was incredibly accommodating and flexible if we had any requests in the moment, and was able to dodge or handle any "questionable" song requests that came his way. We knew that he always put my husband and I's wishes first. We also had multiple people comment on how good the DJ was during the reception, and after the fact! He also went above and beyond to pull heroics the day of to get some of our DIY spot lighting set up that wasn't set up the night prior. Rob was incredible to work with, and just as fun to chat with. Will miss working with them, but absolutely will be following their journeys and would use them again in a heartbeat! So thankful for Justin and Rob!”

My wedding was far from traditional. We had a disney themed wedding, Mike came up with ideas on how to incorporate the theme, he introduced the bridesmaids and groomsman as princesses and princes, and the bride and groom as queen and king. He came up with the idea of doing voiceovers to make the father and daughter dance and the husband and wife a little more special. There wasn't a dry eye in the room. He got everyone on the dance floor, the song selections were great. He listens to what couples want, he really spends time to get to know his clients before the event. He makes sure everything is correct even if there happens to be changes the day before or the day of. Mike and his wife were everything we were looking for in a dj service. “In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

He was so sympathetic and wanted to help make our September 2020 micro-wedding special and memorable for us! He was understanding, compassionate and sympathetic about our situation. Although Matt was unavailable to DJ our 9/20 wedding, we were told in advance that Dan was very good and would be stepping in. We spoke with Dan just about a week before our wedding and got 95% of the info he needed (because WE were being indecisive) oops. Then, the night before the wedding, he got the last few songs he needed from me via text! Unbelievable! He played all the songs we requested and timed our precessional and recessional songs perfectly!! If you get a DJ for your wedding- choose LB Entertainment!”

I had a very unique request to walk down to a classical music song, having my entire party including me walk to it. It was a challenge and DJ Joey did not fail! He had my maid of honor listen to the song right before, got our timings down to the second and made my walk come true! He also stayed an extra 30 minutes! The photobooth was a blast and we have so many fun memories now as a family! I highly suggest doing the GOBO lighting as that was such a special touch. “The short version of this review: if you want the music at your wedding to be awesome and exactly what YOU love to hear, and without cheesey emcee vibes, hire Marcus! Marcus did such an amazing job DJing our wedding, we couldn’t be more thrilled. He is extremely thoughtful with his work. He took careful note of my husband and my musical tastes and preferences, as well as the vibe of our wedding, instead of playing a standard tired playlist. Per our request, he blended in some Latin music seamlessly. The dance floor was full and lively all night long, exactly as we had hoped for! He played songs we hadn’t requested but that we love, leaving me wondering how he could have known so well what to play. He also respected our “do not play” list, as I found out multiple guests requested songs on it and he politely declined. Marcus is very thorough and organized which made working with him so easy- he was on top of all the details, order of events/cues, even reviewed proper name pronunciation with us in advance. The event manager at our venue said she loved working with him and was very impressed. Marcus has such a kind and warm personality, and a really special talent- we feel so lucky that he was part of our big day!”

Despite how last-minute it was, he dove in head-first, learning the music we needed him to learn, accommodating our requests, and being flexible with our questions and changes. The music itself was played so beautifully (it brought my now-husband who never cries to tears!!) and perfectly, it felt like we hired him a year out as opposed to only a month. “Kevin is AMAZING!!! He DJed our wedding celebration in May 2024, and WOW - he was 100000% our dream DJ. We had eloped a year earlier, so our "vision" for the night was to have an epic dance party with all of our friends - Kevin understood this immediately, and delivered truly beyond our wildest imagination! He kept the vibes moving during cocktail hour, and then seriously BROUGHT THE PARTY. The dancefloor was packed for over 3 hours straight. It felt like every single person there asked us where we had found our DJ, and they couldn't believe the mixes he was doing on the fly!! From the moment I first reached out to him in January right up until the end of the event, Kevin was consistently professional, upbeat, and efficient. He replied to all communication quickly, and was SO thoughtful in his preparation. He provided a shared document months ahead of time so that we could share music and scheduling info, and on the night of the event it was so evident that he had paid attention to every single detail ever mentioned in the document, over Zoom, or on our site visit. Every single must-play song came on at the perfect time, he managed to source very specific remixes that I had mentioned, and he kept the night running on schedule with such a chill, stress-free, and adaptable vibe. Kevin even introduced us to his colleague Richie for dance lights when we were debating our lighting options, which also ended up being absolutely perfect! I cannot stress enough how collaborative and understanding Kevin is, how smooth the process was, and most importantly - what a KILLER DJ he is. He truly wants to deliver the night of your dreams. My heart felt like it was going to explode in the best way multiple times that night, because of all the incredible, better-than-you-could-ever-have-imagined dancefloor moments. I wish we had an excuse to do it all over again, I would work with Kevin again in a heartbeat!!!”
