“I hired Kelsey for my November 2024 wedding and she and her team exceeded my expectations. I honestly can't stop thinking about how good my hair and makeup looked the day of my wedding. I was admittedly nervous scheduling my trial because I realized the salon is not in Philly, but in Quakertown, which was about an hour drive. However, when I met Kelsey, I was reminded of why I booked in the first place - her personality is so warm and welcoming, funny, and puts you at ease immediately. I had the same exact reaction the morning of my wedding. I received hair and makeup services and my bridesmaids and MOB/MOG had their hair styled by Kelsey's associate. I thought everyone looked gorgeous and as this was one of the more expensive vendors I paid for myself, I did feel like my money was well spent. If you like full, full coverage with heavy foundation, etc I don't think this is the vendor for you. However, I think what Kelsey did with my makeup was even better because it looked so natural, but still looked like I was wearing the right amount of makeup. On top of my hair and makeup already looking perfect in my opinion, it happened to be snowing/freezing rain the day of my wedding and all of our photos were taken outside. My makeup did not budge! I touched up my lip gloss that was about it. My curls fell slightly because of the rain, but I was still very impressed my hairstyle lasted at all because of the weather. Overall, if you're on the fence about whether you'd like a professional to do your hair or makeup for your wedding, I would highly recommend someone like Kelsey who will make you feel like the most beautiful version of yourself and take the stress out of doing it yourself.”

“TLDR: Your search is over-- Morby Photography is amazing. I’ve worked in TV/Film out in LA with some experience as a photographer for 10 years, and now I work as a Creative Director where my job is to be critical of content, including things like event photography. I'm not ashamed to say I'm a snob about it. So when it came time to choose a photographer for my own wedding-- I was honestly TERRIFIED. I didn’t think I was going to find anyone who would fit my high standards. My wife and I got married at the Union Trust in late October. It’s a beautiful venue, but not a ton of natural light. As I searched through photographer after photographer's portfolio, it felt like every portfolio leaned heavily on window light, sunlight, bright exteriors. That’s great, but I’ve seen photographers really underperform when that natural light goes away if they’re not prepared. (If you look closely as you search for photographers, you might notice that very few photographers have a solid portfolio of dark interiors or use of remote strobes.) So when I came across Matt Soult from Morby Photography, he was one of maybe a handful of photographers whose quality of work really shines through in his portfolio, both in natural light but more importantly with his use of flash-- especially his creative use of remote flashes to light up the dance floor & ceremony. More importantly than his obvious talent, Matt is a really great dude. My wife and I met with him via zoom (we live out of state) and knew immediately he was our guy. Matt takes a candid, photojournalistic approach to his craft, and told us his goal was to become part of our family from the very start of the event. His intent was to capture the magic in-between the moments, get the posey & staged photos out of the way fast and focus on capturing us having fun, which is exactly what I wanted. He’s a genuine, interesting, nice guy who we found an instant connection with. On the day of the wedding, he and his second photographer Cami spent the whole day with us running around Philadelphia and capturing incredible stuff (thank you Cami for dragging all your gear around the city you’re a legend!!). Matt got all the photos we asked for and even made sure to check in with us during the wedding to make sure that we checked all our boxes. He had creative ideas for unique shots. Everything was flawless and we had so much fun… just magic. Thanks Matt & Cami you’re both awesome!! I also want to shout out Mike & Kari Morby who made the process of scheduling and planning so easy. Mike actually called me personally a few days before my wedding so we could talk through the schedule for the day, since we had a REALLY tight timeline to nail with a lot of moving parts. They really want you to get exactly what you want, and don't try to pressure you into doing something that works better for them. Their advice and assistance was pivotal to making the whole thing work like magic. Thank you both!! When we got the photos back, my wife and I were jaw-dropped. They were perfect. The quality of the work, the moments Matt captured... my biggest problem is I don't think I have enough wall space to print them all. If you're like me, and photos are one of the most important elements of your wedding, one of the things you're most concerned about and most excited for, and you’ve found your way to Morby, and to this review— I’m so happy to tell you your stressful googling is over. Our Farm sits on 54-Acres in Bucks County. Our Seed Barn was originally built back in the 1820's. Our Seed Barn was restored in the Summer of 2016 & seats 160-200 people. Attached to the back of the Seed Barn is a beautiful deck that overlooks the ceremony site. In the lower level of the Seed Barn is our Groom’s Suite! He listened to every request we had leading up and I truly didn't think about a thing during the wedding day - he had our timeline completely under control and kept us on track (and if we were running behind I still have no idea because he's that good!!). The band is INCREDIBLE and had our guests on the dance floor all night!! I realized at the end of the night I never even changed out of my heels into my white sneakers because that would have meant leaving the dance floor. Our guests are still telling us how amazing the band was and several of them even got their card for their own events! Having Experience was the best decision we made!! So, naturally, the world came to a stop right before our planned dinner date to get to know each other (how sweet is she?!) and instead "met" over a Zoom meeting. We discussed that we would be postponing to [this] year. Three hours and one bottle of wine later, we figured out the details for her to come shoot our "mini-mony" wedding on our original date. That day comes and my family couldn't stop talking about how much they adored her! Honestly, she will make you feel like she has known you and your family forever. Okay, I'm probably losing you here so fast forward to our real wedding last weekend and as things go, we got a little bit behind in makeup so Andrea (and her AMAZING second-shooter Rachel) were already at the venue getting the groom shots, details shots, etc. I get there, I'm stressed, not entirely confident in my last-minute coordinator supplied by my venue, and there's Andrea ready to greet me with a huge hug, smile and all the reassuring words a bride needs to hear. Instant relief. When I tell you that Andrea (and Rachel <3) went ABOVE AND BEYOND their job description, I whole-heartedly mean it. She literally bustled my dress and helped me get in/out when I needed to pee. Without this girl, my day would have been unbelievably chaotic and frankly, a mess, but she truly saved it. She will not only photograph your day and produce those breathtaking photos (which she 10000% did because I already got my sneak peeks), but she will be your shoulder to lean on because she truly cares about her brides and loves what she does.
