“Naked Soul (led by Tony and Tom Perrone) absolutely ROCKED at our wedding! Tons of friends and family told us during and afterwards that they were the best wedding band they'd seen, and we might be biased, but we agree wholeheartedly. They were also pretty great to work with, and as a result music was one of the least stressful parts of planning and one of the best memories of the event. The planning process was extremely professional — we had a few calls with Tony to talk over the vibe we were going for in the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance floor. They sent over a list of a couple hundred songs in their repertoire and we picked 20 or so to anchor their idea of what we were looking for and selected our processionals, recessional, first dance, and parent-child dances. Our first dance was not on their list but they learned it and killed it in their performance. Our venue was a little non-traditional (relatively small room for the dance floorband) and we weren't sure that a full band was going to work in the space, but Tony put us at ease and pulled it off amazingly. One of the points Tony made in the run-up was that the songs we were picking were recommendations, not a set list. The band was going to follow the vibe and play more of whatever style was working with the crowd. This made it so much easier for us to pick songs, and in the end they played a lot of stuff that wasn't in our pics but went over better than we could have dreamed. I never thought I'd say that the best songs at my wedding were from the Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, and Black Eyed Peas. They knew their audience and the place went wild when they played Everybody (Backstreet's Back). The range of songs that a 10-piece band with a full array of vocalists can pull off is wild. Anyway, 10/10, would book again. If you're in the New York area and looking for a party we can't recommend Perrone Bros/Naked Soul highly enough. Bonus, these pics were taken by Tony and posted to their Instagram after the event.”

He took careful note of my husband and my musical tastes and preferences, as well as the vibe of our wedding, instead of playing a standard tired playlist. Per our request, he blended in some Latin music seamlessly. The dance floor was full and lively all night long, exactly as we had hoped for! He played songs we hadn’t requested but that we love, leaving me wondering how he could have known so well what to play. He also respected our “do not play” list, as I found out multiple guests requested songs on it and he politely declined. Marcus is very thorough and organized which made working with him so easy- he was on top of all the details, order of events/cues, even reviewed proper name pronunciation with us in advance. “Hiring DJ KDOT LIM (Kevin) was the best decision we made when going through the process of hiring our vendors. I am very particular about my music and it was a TOP priority that we worked with someone that understood our vibe, vision, and overall music selection for our big day. He was such a pro and knew what to ask for our venue's AV set up, music prep, and even attending rehearsal which was totally optional for him to join. Kevin understood everything from the timing of the music for the processional, and most importantly my big entrance down the aisle. When it was time to party, he spun all the tunes I requested and also went above and beyond to DJ the most FUN set ever!!! One of my highlights from the day was my husband and I dancing to one of our favorite house tracks that I didn't even request. He just had the perfect song queued up for the right time!!! I can't imagine what the day would have been without him. He had all our guests up and dancing including my parents and uncles and aunties. The vibes were immaculate!!! Above all, his personality is so kind and chill which is the kind of person you want to be working with for such a big life event. I cannot highly recommend him enough!”

“Working with Scott and his band was the best decision we made on our wedding day. We had a very specific vision where we would have a jazz quartet during the cocktail hour and have the pianist and bassist play classical music during the cocktail hour. While this was an atypical setup (usually Cello and Piano), Scott's band was up to the challenge and they absolutely nailed it! I even got to get up and sing a Sinatra standard, and play a tune on trumpet with the cocktail band to my now wife! What great energy the group had, they welcomed me in with open arms and smiles, and we really couldn't have asked for a more perfect day!”
