Since 1998 Sheryl has been collaborating with Maui's Arts Education for Children Group and Jazz Maui, with appearances at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center, The Lahaina Amphitheater, The IOA Theater, Queen Ka'ahumanu Center, The Ritz Carlton Kapalua, and several Front St venues, but her favorite is Maui's 4th of July fireworks celebration at the Lahaina Library (To date, 7 appearances). She loves working with incredible Maui-based musicians.

I started DJ’ing as a kid with two boom boxes, cassette mixtapes, and a deep love for music. I got into Turntablism and DJ’ing as an art form after completing a term in the Air Force. That's when I expanded my love for music and worked my way through college DJ’ing and doing voiceover. At Cal State I earned a B.A. in Film & Audio Production, and I then went on to become a certified Audio Engineer. Bassist and bandleader Josh Levine got his start in the professional music business busking in SoHo with The Flying Neutrinos in ’93, so when NYC shut down in Spring of 2020, he capitalized on his experience as a street performer and began to play regularly in the parks of NYC with percussionist and sonero, Jainardo Batista, renowned flutist Itai Kriss making his debut on Cuban trés guitar, and María Raquel on vocals and minor percussion. Before long, the quartet had generated some buzz, several venues hired them to play outdoors and pianist Gabriel Chakarji and Grammy winning flutist and vocalist Jeremy Bosch became staples of the group.
