“I was hesitant to book anyone for our wedding photography at first — it wasn’t personal, I just felt unsure and overwhelmed by the whole process. But John Barone completely changed that. He followed up thoughtfully over email and offered to set up a call. From the moment we started talking, I felt like I was catching up with an old friend. He was clearly the most capable person I had spoken to, and by the end of the call, I was completely sold on him and his team. I had my heart set on a documentary-style photographer, and I was especially drawn to Stuart’s work. I followed his portfolio online and was continually impressed with every post. Leading up to the wedding, John was more of a help than he probably realizes. He took the reins on scheduling the entire day — something that should’ve been in my wheelhouse (I’m a planner and a project manager by day), but somehow felt incredibly daunting. “We had the pleasure of working with Anthony Resto, owner, photographer, and videographer of Alpha Omega Studios, for our wedding back in 2010, and again for several milestone events for our daughter, including her senior prom and graduation party in June of 2025. From start to finish, Anthony has been nothing short of exceptional. When we first inquired about his services for our wedding, he impressed us with his creativity, knowledge, and professionalism. He shared his extensive portfolio from various events, offering us inspiration and ideas. One idea we loved was his suggestion to have a black-and-white photoshoot of just the two of us at the Museum of Paterson on Market Street. Anthony meticulously laid out the day and planned different poses, and the photos came out beautifully. We even decided to place a black-and-white picture of us on each table, adding a personal and elegant touch to our wedding décor. On our wedding day in November 2010, Anthony arrived bright and early, full of energy and ready to capture every moment. He was patient, personable, and everywhere at once—capturing moments that we didn’t even see. Our guests loved him as well; he made everyone feel comfortable, creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
