Got married at Cityview Rooftop and honestly it was magic. The skyline views was breathtaking, it had all my guests took out their phones, but what really stood out was the team. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives. So much of that sentiment is due to the amazing setting we had, but more importantly all the people who made it possible. From day one, Eman stood out as a trusted advisor and throughout the process turned into a friend. The staff on the day of our wedding was unbelievable. Everyone made us feel like royalty, especially our bridal assistant, Jadelyn. The views, the FOOD, the service... ALL incredible. We chose Ravel because we planned our wedding from LA and needed as much help as we could get. Eman was an incredible partner throughout the entire process. I cannot recommend Ravel enough for anyone's wedding or celebration. We just might have to do it again next year..

Our guests were enchanted by the skyline views and the delicious bites and drinks. Everyone was very impressed by the turnover from ceremony space to reception. It was incredibly quick and smooth. The team was a well oiled machine, They handled every transition and any small hiccup with precision and grace. The personal attention given to the couple throughout the reception was greatly appreciated. The attention to detail day of was a wonderful contrast to their more hands-off approach to the pre-planning. The front desk staff at the hotel provided exceptional service from handling questions about the room block to tracking down and setting up a pack and play for the littlest guest. Every staff member that we encountered was professional, warm, and welcoming.

Last month we hosted our 125 person wedding at the Wythe Hotel in our local Brooklyn. We could not have asked for a more beautiful city venue or a more helpful team. Our sales director JD and our event coordinator Cassie are such pros-- both veterans of the NYC wedding industry-- and they helped make the day a real breeze. At the Wythe you really get what you pay for. We had a Saturday "off-season" wedding so the F&B minimums were high but easily met with our guest count. Our 395 a head included a premium open bar, multiple signature cocktails, passed hors d'oeuvres, a market station, a plated family style meal, coffee service, a wedding cake, all hospitality staff, coat check, A/V team, and hotel discounts. If we hadn't wanted to add extra florals and decor, the space truly would've been gorgeous bare. The Wythe team helped us manage the rest of our vendors and recommended some if we needed. We stayed onsite in one of their giant suites, which was perfect for getting ready and for first look photos. Cannot recommend this vendor enough!!

3 West’s coordinator Marc and his staff went absolutely above and beyond for our wedding. They took my homemade centerpieces and made the solarium and the ballroom especially look truly breathtaking– but the hotel on its own is a true old New York style gem. Off-peak pricing with the room block was a great deal and worth every penny. This is the best hotel and wedding venue in NYC! I want to start by saying Richard Godfrey and Beatriz Lesnoy are amazing coordinators. For the last 5 months I’ve been planning my wedding with the help and precision of them both and they made our dreams come true! The sterling room located in the Wallace was the PERFECT WEDDING VENUE for our 50 guests! It was beautiful, spacious, elegant and simply gorgeous. We also loved the Lucerne Penthouse to host our ceremony which had a rooftop attached to it! Absolutely gorgeous. We loved our hotel room in the Wallace it was clean and elegant as well. My husband and I were supposed to have a completely different wedding. Unfortunately, due to COVID we had to change those plans. At first we were completely shattered at the idea of postponing our big day- then in comes The Michelangelo Hotel to save the day!! I never imagined have a smaller wedding but the intimate gathering was absolutely perfect!! They went above and beyond our expectations and created an elegant affair that my husband and I will not soon forget. We held our Friday night Welcome Party for our wedding weekend at Lillistar and we can't say enough good things about the event, the venue, and the events team! This is a stunning and hip venue for this type of event and the decor at Lillistar brings such a fun vibe we didn't feel the need to bring anything in. The drinks and food were plentiful and super good and the vibe created was perfect! From our first emails and tour to all the planning and logistics, Sydney and the team were extremely responsive, easy to work with, and really made the event so so special, seamless and fun for our guests. With every detailed question we had, Sydney replied with "of course!" The team also had an eye for detail and was able to provide us with a floor plan and set up that worked for our guest count and event type. We were able to come in early to set up no questions asked. The team really thought of everything and we barely had anything to do ourselves. We had the entire inside as well as outdoor area and were provided a satellite bar and food set up outdoors. The team moved the furniture around so that it would allow for a perfect guest flow. The venue didn't ever feel too crowded. The food was amazing - our guests raved about it all! Sydney was very helpful with setting our menu including passed apps and stations for our guest count and timing. The team was also really helpful with speeches and helped us get set up and feel comfortable. At the last hour the staff even turned the lights into a clubby atmosphere and our guests started dancing! Thank you thank you!

Having never been privy to what goes into a wedding reception, I was in the dark about a lot. So, I had difficulty understanding what to choose and how much our choices would cost. If it wasn’t for the close proximity to the church, I may have chosen a different venue for our reception. The food and beverage was the biggest expense and the biggest source of confusion. The real disappointment of the F&B was the limited amount of food. The shrimp appetizer was good. However, there was so little, if you didn’t grab some, it was gone. Of the three entrees to choose from, the only one that was any good was the fish and the portion was less than one would reasonably expect for an entree. The chicken was dry and hard, a huge disappointment. The lemon tart dessert was good. The space itself is very nice. Fortunately, it was just the right size for our reception.

We had our wedding reception on the rooftop and also stayed in the penthouse suite and it was the best experience we could have asked for! Krystal and Sophie went WAY above and beyond to make our celebration and our stay go smoothly and something we will never forget! The cocktails were delicious, everyone was accomodating (including complimentary champagne in the room) and the Japanese soaking tub on the roof was sublime! Soaking in the tub with the view of the Empire State Building is a night I’ll look forward to repeating… and I would recommend for anyone else to do the same!

One of my favorite spots in the city, I highly recommend the hotel and restaurant! My fiancé and I celebrated our engagement at North Square (the adjoining restaurant) and it was absolutely perfect. The meal and service both were impeccable as always. We love taking parents, friends, and out-of-towners here to enjoy a little slice of West Village history!

Our wedding turned out to be incredibly beautiful, thanks to a unique venue and execution by its staff. However, that perfect day was almost derailed by the unacceptable pressure campaign to change ceremony locations due to concerns over furniture getting wet. We wanted this review to capture our nearly 20 months of planning with the TWA Hotel. PLANNING PROS: -Variety of spaces -Responsiveness -Flexibility for storing supplies CONS: -No FAQ document -Frustrating room block system -Forgotten menu tasting notification -Lack of communication and contradictory info from the Paris Cafe for rehearsal dinner THE WEDDING PROS: -Organized and accommodating staff -The food, especially the pastrami station and red velvet cake for dessert CONS: -Wrong display with typo on Solaris board in the Sunken Lounge -Our tiered wedding cake wasn’t cut and served even tho there clearly wasn’t enough sheet cake to pass around -The weather “policy”: We were told that we could make a final decision on an outdoor ceremony up until the morning of our wedding, and our point of contact reassured us of this during our final walkthru 2 weeks out. Our contract also secured the Sunken Lounge as the backup option if we chose to move indoors. However, in the final days and hours before our wedding, we were pressured to move our ceremony indoors, despite nearly all weather reports showing clear skies for our 5-6pm ceremony and rain only after 9pm. Our point of contact started questioning our outdoor plans 4-5 days before the wedding, and even met with us multiple times - first in the lobby while we were dropping off supplies 2 days before our wedding, again when we were checking in the next day, and yet again when we were at the pool before our rehearsal dinner, where we had to brush off our guests in order to have a serious meeting. Each time, they told us we needed to make a "final call" now, not the morning-of as we had been told before. After listing their reasons to move the ceremony indoors (which included threatening to release the Sunken Lounge from our backup option, despite what our contract said), the point of contact mentioned that the head manager was concerned about the rain damaging the leather chairs, and then proposed a “solution” of having the ceremony outside, but not setting up any chairs so that our guests would stand for the entire ceremony. It was clear to us that the real reason why we were being pressured was that the manager didn’t want their leather chairs to get wet! We asserted that, unless we were explicitly told we couldn't have our ceremony outside, we would stick with the outdoor option. The morning of our wedding, our day-of coordinator informed us that the venue was insisting they now had a “50% chance of rain policy”, giving them the “right” to change ceremony locations. We immediately forwarded reports from 10 weather sites that all had a chance of rain between 5-7pm at 0-30%. We finally saw chairs being set up outside in the mid-afternoon, and when our ceremony got underway, the clouds parted ways and the sun started shining. CONCLUSION: The TWA Hotel is such a special place to celebrate your wedding! Before you sign the contract, however, understand that you’ll have to stay on top of the planning process, and in cases like ours, fight for what you envision. Make sure the contract spells out any and all promises — there were items that we made sure they honored as it was clear the hotel’s policies had changed since the signing.

The staff at Hampton Inn were helpful through every phase of the process as we planned the event from another state, from booking rooms with special needs for children, to help picking the perfect room and room for the rehearsal dinner, to transportation help to the wedding venue. Rezaine and the rest of the staff were always willing to answer questions, make changes and add special touches to the room for the dinner. The room and view were perfect, and the view spectacular! We won’t be planning another wedding there, but would highly recommend it to anyone considering the space
