During the reception, we gave him a playlist, and he struck the perfect balance between sticking to our choices and reading the crowd to keep everyone dancing. One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. Joey G understood our need for clean music as we had many families with young children attending, yet he still kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The dance floor was packed with all 150 guests! Joey G was also a great help with announcements, coordinating toasts, and working with friends and family to announce the newlyweds and photo groups. His flexibility and attention to detail were impressive. Overall, I highly recommend Joey G to any couple looking for an awesome wedding DJ. Steve encountered an issue with a band member. The singer got sick the day before the wedding, but he found a replacement that was outstanding. During our reception we fell a little behind on our timing for scheduled events (toasts, first dances, cake cutting, etc.) and Alex calmly informed me of what was going on and the best way to catch up on time. He was so flexible and very knowledgeable on how to make things work! We included his photo booth in our package and it was a total hit! Everyone loved it and some of our favorite photos from the night took place here. He and his assistant are professionals!
