“The DJ was the thing that I didn't want to worry about on our special day, and I have to admit I was slightly underwhelmed by Wedding Pro DJS. Robert, the man who owns WPDJs, was initially very communicative and enthusiastic but after a couple months of him being booked his communication completely stopped. Roughly a MONTH before the wedding he told me he was having an impromptu hip replacement. I get that these things happen but I wasn't born yesterday and I think there was an opportunity to let me know prior to a month before. He assured us that his replacement was top tier and that he djd his own wedding, and his replacement was indeed a very nice guy, but on the day of the wedding during the reception there was a LOT of feedback from the mics during peoples speeches which actually led to us completely losing audio recording from the best man. Super bummer. You just don't expect things like that from professionals. I'm sure this was a one off but I probably wouldn't book them again.”

“Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”

Main Event was the recommended DJ service from our venue, and the matching process to put us with the rigth DJ was so easy. “We could rave about DJ Thrilla all day long, but in the words of our wedding guests: “Best dance floor we’ve seen in a long time!” It’s been weeks since our wedding and our guests can’t stop talking about how great the music was. Arthur did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and managed a tricky parent dance section (multiple sets of parents & timing!) We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. By the end of the night, he even had guests asking him to travel to Texas to DJ their wedding! Booking DJ Thrilla was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend him more!”

“When we were booking vendors, I wanted wedding professionals. I wanted people who knew the industry inside and out because we were DIY-ing our wedding and without a planner. When you book someone for your wedding, youre not just booking their service- youre booking their industry knowledge and Magnus has a LOT of knowledge and such a big heart. My example of this is within 4 hours of submitting an initial inquiry, we had an email with a scheduled time to call to chat about his services and our wedding plans to see if they matched. What really got our hearts though was before we agreed to work together, he helped me fine tune the schedule I had in my head for the wedding day. He helped us with our timeline not because he was trying to “sell” us on him, and he didnt say “if we work together I’ll help you with the timeline” which would have been perfect acceptable. He helped me because he cares about weddings and wanted to make sure regardless of who we went with for a DJ that we had a good foundation. After that call, I told Collin I wanted Magnus on our wedding team and we didnt need to even consider anyone else and let me tell you - that was one of the best decisions we made. Throughout the process he gave great ideas based on his experience not only for the party (DO THE 10-15 MINUTE DANCE PARTY!!!) but on other aspects of our wedding as well. You’re not just working with an “oh you got a *DJ* DJ!!”as my friend so excitedly said after the music started, you’re working with a professional big hearted person with years of experience who is here to help you have the best time. Our day was truly the best and Magnus was a huge part of that. Once the music started, our dance floor was packed and stayed packed to the bitter end! Our experience with CSE from start to finish was 10/10. Chris and Elena are incredibly organized, communicative, and responsive. They always answered all of our questions (and I asked many!) Alec, Alex, Savannah, and the rest of the band members rocked it all night. One of the first things guests commented on about our wedding was how amazing the band was. One of our guests commented that they wish they could cancel their DJ and fly CSE to their wedding in Portugal because they loved them so much. Extremely talented musicians for an awesome price, which make a huge difference when wedding planning.
