“This venue exceeded my expectations. What I thought was going to be a “barn” style wedding was much more elegant than I could have imagined. This rustic yet elegant wedding venue seamlessly blends natural beauty, farm charm, and stunning outdoor spaces to create a truly memorable experience. The moment you step on the grounds, you are greeted by Horses grazing in pastures surrounded by panoramic mountain views. The landscape served as the perfect backdrop for the wedding ceremony. The reception area was equally impressive, with a spacious, well-designed layout that allowed guests to enjoy both indoor and outdoor space. The rustic décor, wooden beams, and cozy ambiance perfectly complemented the natural surroundings. From inside the hall you would never guess that the space connects to the horse stalls just past the bathroom doors. The stall area and wedding hall are completely closed off which meant for an pleasant dining experience. The catering was exceptional, everything was fresh and flavorful. I loved the balance of indoor and out door space. The wedding hall connects to a fenced-in outdoor space with a large built-in gas fire pit. I highly recommend sitting by the bonfire and stargazing. It is the perfect way to relax after the bustle of the wedding celebrations. In addition to the wedding we also had the opportunity to explore the grounds on ATVs and visit with the farm animals. It was such a fun experience. Overall, I can't recommend this wedding venue enough. If you're looking for a wedding venue that combines the breathtaking beauty of the Colorado mountains, the charm of farm animals, and the versatility of outdoor spaces, look no further. It's a place where nature's grandeur meets rustic elegance, creating a wedding experience that's both unforgettable and unique. “Kodie is such a gem of a human being and I am so blessed that I got to work with her, she made my whole wedding experience and wedding day absolutely perfect!!! My (now) husband and I are from MN and we wanted to get married in CO and have a small wedding. At the beginning of my wedding planning I found Kodie when she had posted in groups about her mobile bar business K-Bar, in a CO wedding group on Facebook. I went to her website to check out the bars and such because they looked adorable. While I was looking around the website I found that they had recently began to offer micro weddings at their home/land near Guffey CO that couples can make their own day! So I sent a message and Kodie sent me more information and it was an immediate yes!! We booked and got everything going! Kodie responded to emails and texts in a timely manner and we spoke on the phone many times. She is so nice and took time to go over options, give recommendations, and walk me through everything. She coordinated and put everything together for us! We had a big beautiful white tent with sides that we could open or close (in case of weather) with cafe lights, portapotty, yard games, tables and chairs, beverages, and food!! We had a personal pizza party & a nonalcoholic beverage station! Everyone made their own pizza and Kodie cooked it in a wood fire grill! She had so many topping options for people and it was a HUGE hit!! We got to pick an alcoholic beverage package and what bar we wanted (we went with Johnnie Cash)! Chris was a fabulous bartender and he was so fun to chat with! Kodie had so many fun options, decor, and details!! We have nothing but good things to say about our day and there is not a single thing that we would have changed!! I kid you not, we received compliments from every guest and had multiple people tell us that it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to!! Everything was exactly what I had dreamed of and working with K-Bar was really what made it so great! Not to mention the gorgeous views and their donkeys! When we come back to CO for vacations in the future, I will for sure be reaching out to Kodie to meet up because her and Mitch feel like family now! XO-The Utsch’s!”
