The first time I photographed a wedding was intensely nerve-wracking, but as the day wore on it really started to click and I fell in love with getting to be such an important part of the celebration. “2020 has been crazy for everyone. We originally had a big wedding planned in late August but COVID had other plans. So we decided to have a much smaller ceremony and Ryan was willing to help. We got ahold of him a week or so before and told him the basic plans, even though we had actually planned none of it, and he was more than willing to accommodate us. We started planning on a Monday and the wedding was on that Thursday and he didn't miss a beat and managed to be extremely helpful. The pictures we got were amazing in a lot of different ways. He took a lot of great photos of us getting ready before the ceremony. He was able to capture our intimate ceremony very well. He did all of the things we wanted and was also able to suggest a lot of great ideas to capture the day. He even managed to get some great candids when we were having fun and joking around before, during, and after the ceremony. Ryan Richardson was very professional and the pictures are amazing but more than that he was able to make us less stressed during a very short, high-stress planning period. Because of the reassurances and communication during the planning period, we knew that our pictures would come out great with Ryan.”

The quality of her work is simply gorgeous and she managed to make us look much cooler than we really are! She captured all the candid moments we had hoped for, and we were amazed at how quickly she got through our posed photos so we could just enjoy the rest of our wedding day. My dad even commented, "Wow, I don't know when you guys had time to get all of these!" after seeing the gallery. We also had a laundry list of family/wedding party pairings and we got through them all promptly after the ceremony, without a ton of fuss, which is exactly as we'd requested. She pulled us aside after dinner when the sun was at the perfect height to get a few more photos, and they're some of my favorites despite only taking us away from the party for about 5 minutes. The preview gallery came SO fast (I believe it was within a day or two) and the pics were just amazing. She was so accommodating of anything we wanted to do, and also had suggestions whenever we weren't sure what we wanted. I also requested to get a couple photos before our final gallery was done so that my mom could use them for Christmas cards and she was so accommodating of that request and sent them right away. “I discovered Randall Garnick Photography back in Fall 2019 when my husband and I were newly engaged and checking out Elm Bank in Wellesley. While discussing services the venue offered, we happened upon a wedding album on a table in the meeting room. As we were flipping through the photos, I was drawn to how beautifully Randy was able to capture this couple in their element. There’s something truly magical about being able to capture candid moments. With what I previewed, I didn’t need to go online to read reviews for Randy to know that I wanted to book him for our wedding. With his warm and inviting personality, working with Randy was truly a delightful experience. We had our engagement photoshoot at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum, literally a week before the world shut down during the 2020 pandemic. The museum was already shut down to the public, but the sculpture park remained open. Randy really took his time in finding spots in the park to take our shots. But what I loved most about his style and technique was that he didn’t tell us how to pose, as to not create heavily curated photos. Instead, he simply gave us suggestions or a general direction on what we could do, so we had the freedom to act as we pleased and knew Randy would find that perfect candid moment to capture. Our original wedding date was supposed to be in October 2020 but got postponed to October 2021, and Randy was responsive and accommodating to those changes. When our wedding day finally arrived, Randy and his assistant, Wayne, were on their A-game the entire day. They even catered to our silly request in taking photos of us eating our appetizers. Thanks to Randy and Wayne, our wedding day at Elm Bank lives forever through all the beautiful photos that were captured. I can not recommend him enough. Thank you again, Randy and Wayne!”

“We first chatted with Max over Facetime and based on his cool, confident personality, we knew he would be able to do an outstanding job with our Boston Desi-American fusion wedding. His style of photography and editing stood out from the scores of photographers we were picking from on IG. Max worked closely with me (the bride) to coordinate themes, vibes, outfits, and location for our engagement photoshoot. While we were a whole hour late to our shoot because of Boston traffic, he was extremely kind and accommodating, making the most out of the situation and still delivering amazing photos. When I received the photos from him, my husband and I were blown away – he did some stunning portraits of myself, as well as gorgeous shots of us as a couple. We then coordinated wedding details – we opted for a video and photo package. Max’s team was so professional and knew where to situate themselves throughout the day once I gave them my schedule for the day – from Bridal gowngetting readyjewlery details, First Look, Bridal party portraits, Family portraits, solos, ceremony shots, cocktail hour, all the way to reception and EVERYTHING in between. The day was full of surprises and delays (as are most wedding days with lots of family and moving parts) but Max and his team DID NOT MISS A BEAT. They managed my bridal groom party with ease, and rallied everyone necessary for all the requested photos. Do I need to mention the beautiful final shots?
