I started my business as a Garden Designer in 2003 and I just love working with flowers. My business grew into holiday decorating, container gardening and designing flowers for weddings and events. So if you are in need of adding lighting to trees, shrubs or tents we can also provide that for you for a special evening ambience. We also provide many rentals from ceremony arbors, candles, candelabras, lanterns, vases and fabric for draping.

My first job in high school was at a local market florist, and the rest is history! Over 10 years in the floral industry, surrounded by so many talented artists, my love for creating and appreciating art has grown. In this time I have learned that not only am I passionate about the florals or mediums themselves, but also about the connections I’ve built through art.

Florio offers lush, whimsical and modern floral designs for weddings + events across New England. Based out of the North Shore, we are experienced in both local + travel events. We specialize in an organic and airy approach to floral design, drawing inspiration from how stems naturally grow in nature. In our design style, we lean towards a curated selection of blooms, a personalized approach + an ethereal flare.

I have always known that I wanted to work with flowers and in 2001 I obtained a degree in Floriculture. I have twenty years of experience working in the field and have had the opportunity to work for some of the top companies in New England and US. I have worked hand in hand with some of the most inspirational and creatively talented people from across the globe. Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.
