The property boasts two distinct private wedding venues, each featuring outdoor ceremony spaces, bridal suites, groomsmen quarters, and enchanting reception halls. The main venue, 1890, showcases a splendid grand ballroom adorned with chandelier lighting, a versatile cocktail barn, and ample space to accommodate up to 350 guests comfortably including overnight options. Positioned at the property's entrance is a captivating Victorian Era home, originally constructed in 1872 and tastefully remodeled in 1890, offering a picturesque backdrop for your special day.

​Our names are Craig and Nancy Rogge, and we have lived on and owned this property for over 34 years. We have raised two children here and have used our barns and property all these years to raise horses, cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits, cats, and dogs. We have 30+ years of wonderful memories and stories on our little piece of paradise! ​Our barns were built in 1944 by a previous owner, Walter Kurzweil, who our street is named after and who used the property and barns for a dairy farm. Walter Kurzweil had deep ties to the Raymore community as well as had family connections to the Maxine Dean family (Walter was her Uncle), another prominent Raymore name. ​ If you go back even further, our property was granted to a young man in 1857 as part of the “ScripWarrant Act of 1847.” At that time, public land was gifted through this Act to military personnel for their service in the Mexican-American War.

The Fields is a very special secluded venue with gorgeous views everywhere you look. The backdrop of a warm palette with natural woods makes an ideal canvas for anything from tuscan decor, wine country feels, boho vibes to welcoming country. A unique outdoor amphitheater built into the hillside for ceremonies and a large covered outdoor patio for games or outdoor dining and dancing, make this a one-of-a-kind experience for your most important day.
