Established in 1977, Matterhorn has become one of Elkhart’s most treasured and long-standing venues. The expansive building features three separate banquet halls, all of which can be combined to accommodate larger gatherings. The East Room is the venue’s smallest space and provides a cozy setting for up to 80 people. The helpful staff can easily join the East, Oak, and West Rooms into a combination that best suits the desired needs and capacity. Linking all three rooms allows for a large dance floor and gives 500 guests ample room to mix and mingle.

Chicory Event Center is a new renovated event space in downtown Mishawaka. It features a main banquet room with seating up to 250, a private dining room with seating up to 25, and a Chicory Cafe with an beautiful outside patio. The main banquet room features a beautiful bar with barn doors, coffee bar, dance floor, and a chandelier. This room is perfect for your wedding reception, class reunion, birthday party, sweet sixteen party, retirement party, business conference, or networking event. From its historical beginnings as a stoic munitions depot, The Armory experienced a beautiful transformation to showcase a sophisticated ballroom, classy built-in bar and impressive commercial kitchen. Original element of the 1928 Armory construction and subsequent Newman Recreations Center were incorporated into the even space renovation to provide the perfect blend of past and present.Iron-barred doors used to secure armers and thick concrete walls reinforced with brick to accommodate the National Guard Armory and shooting range lend a rustic industrial aesthetic. Wood from the recreation center bleachers line the dramatic bar and the orginial hardwood floor was dressed up to grace the ballroom. The vaulted timber ceilings and exposed truss work allow the dazzling period chandeliers an opportunity to lend an air of elegance to the urban decor. Charm abounds in the union of classic architecture with a modern flair.

The LEX 530 building was once the home of Pacemaker Trailer Co., one of the earliest RV companies in Elkhart. Carl makes his own line of boutique wines in Napa Valley and brings that wine back to Elkhart to sell at LEX 530. Built in 1893, the former city hall of Fort Wayne is a beautiful example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. As a museum and a historic building, the History Center has a unique character of its own for you and your guests to explore. Travel through time and learn about the history of Allen County and Fort Wayne through the museum’s fascinating exhibits. The History Center has three rooms available to rent, making it the perfect location for any event. The Shields Room is the centerpiece of the museum. It is the former City Council Chamber and Courtroom. Its features include golden oak paneling, a grand chandelier, large windows with expansive city views, and the restored 22-foot ceiling decorated in rich colors and 24kt gold-leaf stencils. You and your guests may ascend the Grand Staircase or use the elevator to reach the room’s second floor entrance.
