He followed up thoughtfully over email and offered to set up a call. From the moment we started talking, I felt like I was catching up with an old friend. He was clearly the most capable person I had spoken to, and by the end of the call, I was completely sold on him and his team. I had my heart set on a documentary-style photographer, and I was especially drawn to Stuart’s work. I followed his portfolio online and was continually impressed with every post. Leading up to the wedding, John was more of a help than he probably realizes. He took the reins on scheduling the entire day — something that should’ve been in my wheelhouse (I’m a planner and a project manager by day), but somehow felt incredibly daunting. We loved having her as a part of day; she was present but not overbearing and only interrupted the flow of the day if absolutely necessary to get a shot that we had requested. She was pleasant, great with the flower girls and ring bearer to get them to walk slow and smile, and was full of joy for us as we celebrated. Our photos were perfect, and she even got some nice ones of my dad who hates pictures. She also worked with us to make sure that we had time for wedding portraits and to actually attend about half of our cocktail hour. Overall is was fantastic and reasonably priced for the area too.”
