The musicians were all courteous, professional, and exceptionally talented. \n\nThey dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. \n\nIn addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. From our initial phone call with Meredith, we knew we were in excellent hands. She took the time to thoroughly understand our vision and musical tastes, making thoughtful suggestions along the way. Communication was prompt, fun, and Meredith was so approachable throughout the planning process. On the big day, the band blew us away with their incredible talent and ability to perfectly execute our song requests, from jazz to oldies to classic rock. As musicians ourselves, we were so impressed by their skill level and experience and professionalism. During cocktail hour, two musicians played jazz, then they switched to rock mode for the reception. They truly made it feel like our own personal concert and kept people on the dance floor for literally 3 hours! The energy was palpable from their very first note, and their song selections kept guests of all ages dancing all night long. They ended the evening with “Purple Rain” by Prince and it made my life. He had a running list of many classic and pop songs that he offered to perform live, and also offered to learn new songs just for us – amazing! Throughout the shutdown, he continued to stay in contact with us over the phone, and was able to make adjustments to the plans as needed. Shivan was very generous with his time, and was always eager to bring our vision to life. We had a detailed itinerary and he executed the plan perfectly! Aside from his ability to entertain with great live music and DJ events, he is able to adapt on the fly. Due to unforeseen weather conditions, we had to move locations from outdoors to indoors and he had the patience, equipment, and skills to make all adjustments with little to no guidance.
