It is so easy to Uber or Lyft there, so you don't have to worry about your guests at the end of the night. And there are lots of bars nearby if you want to keep the party going.\nLast thing, you don't need weather contingencies. You don't have to plan for rain, heat, sunburns, bugs, wildfire smoke, cold. I'm an outdoorsy gal, but indoor weddings all the way. It was awesome for us and our guests. The PDX Suite Spot is spacious, with beautiful exposed brick walls and large windows to view the “Portland” sign from inside. This space has room for VIP’s, Kitchen, DJ’s and more. There are elevators to take you to the second floor or a stairway that leads up with no issues. The hosts are just as kind. and professional. Communication is always returned within a reasonable time frame. I have also witnessed the host help setup for an event when the coordinators were late. This is definitely the type of over and above service I am looking for when choosing a venue to host my events. Hood Meadows. They’re such a unique and fun venue with incredible views of the mountain. One of our favorite aspects was that the entire resort was closed to the public for the day, meaning no random people were able to interrupt the ceremony or reception. They took such good care of our clients, their guests, and us. They escorted us to some beautiful hidden spots for portraits that we wouldn’t have known about if it weren’t for them. From when we arrived prior to the ceremony until we left late that night, their staff was always checking in to make sure our clients had everything they needed to have the best wedding experience.
