This space has room for VIP’s, Kitchen, DJ’s and more. There are elevators to take you to the second floor or a stairway that leads up with no issues. The hosts are just as kind. and professional. Communication is always returned within a reasonable time frame. I have also witnessed the host help setup for an event when the coordinators were late. My wife and I wanted to get married in a beautiful space, but we didn't want to be forced into a traditional, religious ceremony. Sanctuary Hall was the perfect venue! It's beautiful, with stained glass, old wood, lots of space, even a balcony. It's a very old building, with a good feeling to it. As soon as we saw it, it was easy to picture our ceremony there. Steve was a joy to work with - he was super-accommodating, the paperwork was simple, and he offered us all the options we needed. Additionally, the price was far less than most other places we had looked at. There was a minister available if we wanted, but we chose to have an ordained friend perform the service, which worked out fine. Steve was willing to move around furniture, let us use whichever rooms we wanted for preparation, changing, signing of documents, and so on. There was also an organist – Grant – available for the service. He was also amazing to work with, coming up with arrangements of music for us. Everyone was able to meet for a rehearsal a few weeks before the ceremony, which helped things run smoothly. The actual ceremony was beautiful, with everything coming together as planned. They even rang the bell for us as we left the church :) I highly recommend Sanctuary Hall to anyone looking for an amazing space in Portland. Easy to get to, garage parking nearby, and just an all-around excellent experience. ----- This review was produced without the use of AI, generative technology, grammar-checking/suggesting software, chatbots, or other assistive tools, other than a simple spell checker.
