We knew almost immediately we wanted to work with Kelly when we noticed our mutual love of animals and Disney on her website. And after seeing her light, bright and beautiful work, then having our first consultation with her- we were sold! We had our engagement photos with Kelly in Newport, and dealt with a cloudy, drizzly day- she made it so much fun, and beautiful, and our photos were outstanding and bright and lovely despite the weather. You could literally not tell it had been a bit gray and bland that day based on the photos we got back. She even mailed us one of our favorite photos printed on canvas as a surprise and we instantly hung it in our living room. “KNG Photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day last summer. The photographers were understanding, great at directing guests around, and fit right into the wedding day seamlessly. By the end of the night even my bridesmaids said that Kristen was the best wedding photographer that they’ve ever had (and they’ve been in quite a few weddings). Kristen was amazing at reading the room, finding phenomenal poses to take photographs, and capturing both the details and the important shots. I can’t say more positive things about how KNG photography handled themselves and made our special day perfect. Kristen understood how to make little kids cooperate and understood when they wouldn’t. She knew how to capture vulnerable moments - like those with my dad - and offered to take special shots that we would have never considered (and of course they came out perfectly). “Jenni is an absolute gem of a human and a phenomenal photographer. She is so sweet and such a lovely personality. We first worked with Jenni to take our engagement photos, and my husband and I immediately felt comfortable and familiar with her. We are not comfortable in front of the camera at all, but Jenni somehow made us feel like we'd been taking photos together with her for years. After our engagement shoot, I knew Jenni needed to be our wedding photographer. We more or less picked our wedding date based on her availability! A few weeks after booking our wedding with Jenni, she sent us the loveliest care package with a typewriter-written note and a few goodies. She puts so much thought and care into everything she does! On the day of the wedding, Jenni immediately hopped into action. She was patient, kind, and had such confidence in what she was doing (which was so needed, considering you're dealing with not just us as the couple, but our families as well). We were barely past the weekend after our wedding, and we already have sneak peeks! Jenni is a master! Looking at what she was able to capture is truly amazing. I usually do not like looking at photos of myself, but I can't stop looking at these pictures!!
