I recently had the absolute pleasure of hosting my wedding at Stroudsmoor Country Inn on Memorial Day, and I am beyond thrilled with the experience. From start to finish, the entire event was nothing short of magical. Before our wedding, I often heard people say their wedding day was the happiest day of their lives, but I never truly understood that sentiment—until now. Thanks to the impeccable team at Stroudsmoor, I can wholeheartedly say it was the happiest day of my life. The approach at Stroudsmoor is exceptionally organized. Linda, with her vast experience, ensures that every detail is perfect. Her meticulous planning and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire process. Despite the unexpected heavy rains on our wedding day, we seamlessly adapted and moved the ceremony indoors to a beautiful location inside the Lawnhaven Pavilion. The transition was smooth, and the indoor setup was just as stunning as the original outdoor plan. The environment Linda and her team created was like a dream come true. She has cultivated an atmosphere of warmth and hospitality that is palpable as soon as you step onto the property. The surprises they planned were beyond amazing! Growing up in India, I had only read about s'mores and imagined the sound of ice cream trucks. Experiencing these delightful touches for the first time on our special day was phenomenal. These unexpected details made us feel incredibly loved and cherished. I want to extend a special thank you to the incredible "I Do Crew"—Belkis, Jess, and Ann—who did an outstanding job on the day. Laura’s kindness also did not go unnoticed. And finally, a heartfelt thank you to Linda, whose efforts in fostering such a positive and welcoming atmosphere at Stroudsmoor truly made all the difference. We were married on 5/10/25 & I still am beaming ear to ear about my experience at Minerals Hotel. From the moment we stepped on the property to view the venue, we knew it was special. Rachel greeted us and gave us the grand tour & made us feel so comfortable. Her bubbly personality and enthusiasm for the space and everything they had to offer really sold us. We fell in love with everything. I did not realize my experience would be getting that much better with Dana as my coordinator. She went above and beyond to help us. She answered any and all of questions, she gave me honest feedback, and always put my needs ahead of anything else. She’s a professional & a saint. My whole experience as a bride was made better from her being there for us throughout the whole experience. Our wedding day went extremely smooth & I don’t know if it would have went that way without her and her team. Our wedding weekend was everything we could have wanted and more. The minerals hotel staff took care of everything and made everyone feel so comfortable. I cannot tell you how many people are still texting us about how amazing everything was and how they want to find more excuses to come to this hotel & have another event. For the weekend, we opted for a welcome party for all of our guests the night before & offered snacks and a cash bar in the diamond room- it really set the scene for the whole weekend. Our bartender that night kept the drinks flowing and everyone had the best time. The late night snacks were really good too. We also opted for a farewell brunch the day after the wedding in the same room and it was perfect. The breakfast buffet is unmatched & was much needed after a night of partying. We got married in the Sweetgrass Pavilion at Minerals hotel and it was perfect. Not only is the pavilion itself beautifully designed but the staff were on top of everything. They made sure that everyone had what they needed (which was a lot for a 180 person wedding) and were so organized. Our lovely bridal assistant, Kya, made sure my husband & I ate, were hydrated and even had to do a quick tailoring job for me to make my dress more comfortable to dance in haha. The dance floor was perfect for a big dance party, the chicken roulade & filet mignon were divine, and the bartenders made a fabulous lemon drop martini (my choice haha) There was not one thing I could say wrong about the whole night. The makeup artists (Marisol and Leah) and hairstylist (Caitlin) that we hired from the salon at Minerals were INCREDIBLE. Every single girl looked absolutely beautiful. A big concern when hiring was seeing how the makeup artists worked on mature skin & hooded eyes- they knocked it out of the park. These girls are extremely talented . The cocktail hour was amazing. Everyone was impressed with the food (also Kya wrapped up all the food for us so the day after the wedding my husband & I were able to try everything we weren’t able to- it was such a nice treat) & the after party pool party was so much fun (I highly recommend booking the pool, your guests, & you, will love it…and the after party churros- everyone ate those up). After the princess treatment we received at minerals hotel, I don’t think anyone should get married anywhere else. Dana, Kya, Rachel, & the rest of the minerals team made my dream wedding into a reality bigger than what I could have imagined for myself. Do not hesitate, book this venue, you will be so glad you did.

My husband and I wanted to express our sincere gratitude for the overall beauty and charm of Grand Cascades Lodge, which made our wedding day truly memorable. The stunning views, exquisite grounds, and the spacious Emerald ballroom were perfect for our celebration. Working with Jean and Sara was generally a positive experience, and their welcoming attitude during our visits meant a lot to us. However, I wanted to share some constructive feedback regarding the planning process. While our customization requests were accommodated, there were communication challenges, especially on the day of the wedding, with multiple points of contact. The food tasting experience was delightful, and we appreciate the effort in accommodating our preferences. Although some dishes at the cocktail hour were well-received, the braised beef dish didn't meet the standard set during the tasting. Unfortunately, there were a few issues during the weekend that impacted our experience: - The memory table candles were not lit until late in the reception, despite prior requests. - Our sweetheart table had a wrinkled tablecloth, affecting the overall presentation. - The florist's flowers for the cake were left with the kitchen staff, and despite assurances, they were not added as planned. - The shuttle service delay inconvenienced elderly guests who had to wait longer than expected. Additionally shuttle service that was promised during the after party did not work as agreed upon. While these points highlight areas for improvement, we want to emphasize our appreciation for the positive aspects of our celebration. We understand that events may encounter unforeseen challenges, and we believe that sharing our experience can contribute to enhancing future events at GCL. Still riding the high from our wedding weekend! We were absolutely floored by all the work Jen and Ally and the whole Stagecoach team did to make our wedding weekend spectacular! They have several different packages that you can choose from which allowed us to find something that truly worked for us. We ended up having around 115 guests for the wedding and the space was just perfect! We had been to the Inn for dinner before and we knew we wanted to make food a priority. Chef Jerrel hit it out of the park for the rehearsal dinner, the cocktail hour/reception, and the brunch the next morning! Also because they have rooms upstairs, we were able to have our closest family stay and not have to worry about any travel! We couldn't recommend them enough!

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our every request. My husband and I were married at Settlers Inn this October and could not have picked a better venue! The ceremony and reception were held in the undercroft room, which is a beautifully decorated room with a cozy fireplace for guests to enjoy. Our wedding planner, Tammy was amazing and was available for last minute planning calls and quickly responded to emails. The staff at Settlers are very friendly and accommodating. Our guests were very impressed! We could not recommend Settlers more!

Kenoza Hall is a dream wedding venue. Everything was absolute perfection and I’m so grateful to everyone there for making my wedding weekend so perfect. The staff is so incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to make their guests feel happy and comfortable. Every meal I had tasted like Michelin level. Chef Clark is incredible. The spa, pool, lake and bonfire areas were the perfect spaces for my guests to hangout. Every single room and bungalow was decorated perfectly and had such a unique, Serene, and beautiful vibe. The lakeside ceremony quite literally took my breath away and the tented reception in the meadows was everything I always dreamed. By the end of my stay I wanted to live there. The Whistling Swan Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding weekend. From the moment we began communicating with the inn, we were impressed by their extremely thorough, timely, and attentive approach. This beautiful historic home became our home for the weekend, providing the perfect space for an intimate gathering of close family and friends for pre- and post-wedding activities. We reserved all ten rooms for our guests aged 1 through 85! The inn also recommended a superb catering service for our rehearsal dinner, and our guests enjoyed a delicious meal the evening before the main event. We recently got married in Peekskill and stayed at the Abbey and had our rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, and morning after brunch there. The building and the grounds are beautiful. The food was very good and they were able to accommodate our dietary restrictions and guests needs. The rooms were nice, spacious, and very clean. Everyone had positive things to say about the events held at the space. There are two things that bring down this review. The first is that the event/sales staff is very hard to get in touch with. We left countless voicemails and sent many emails that all went unanswered. The turnover of the staff was quite high, and we never knew who we were going to be speaking with. The second major issue was that there is only one elevator and no freight elevator. The morning of our wedding the elevator was out of service. There are only 2 stories to the hotel so that is not the issue, but the wheelchair accessible room, which a guest of ours who is in a wheelchair was given, was on the second floor. Thankfully the elevator was fixed and he was able to make it to our wedding, but in the event of an emergency, we don’t know what would have happened.

We loved our wedding at ElmRock Inn! The venue is gorgeous and I had the time of my life. Staying onsite was amazing. I highly recommend ElmRock. The chef is fantastic and we will remember our wedding fondly for the rest of our lives. There were a few negatives during our stay, but we are still very glad that we got married at ElmRock. The first negative was that the water in the BnB and carriage house (where bride/groom stayed) kept running out at night. This was pretty annoying, but not a huge issue since the water was usually fine by morning. Second, the venue coordinator was pretty rude throughout the weekend and especially to my family. Many people at the wedding commented about how rude she was (and the fact that she wore white pants to our wedding!). The rest of the staff was nicer, though a couple of the servers were also rude, just not as bad. I expected the staff to be more accommodating and welcoming the entire weekend, but it really felt more like we were getting scolded at times. Lastly, they served my wedding cake really cold and had clearly forgotten to take it out of the fridge to get to room temperature before serving. That was quite frustrating, especially since I heard them talking about how I (the bride) needed to hurry up to start the cake cutting while I was changing, but the cake wasn't even ready! Overall, the venue is gorgeous and we had a lovely time. I think the experience would be improved by some updating to their plumbing and getting a coordinator that's nicer to their customers. The food was AMAZING and the chef is fantastic, just be warned if you're sensitive to people who can be rude/unaccommodating.

The Bird and Bottle Inn was the perfect fairytale setting for our wedding. From the beginning, there were many emails back and forth to get all the details just right, but the staff was incredibly responsive and professional throughout the entire planning process. But they really shined the day of the wedding. The set-up and ceremony went so smoothly, they made sure everything was taken care of. Even last minute timeline switches like cutting the cake earlier in the night was made easy. We also were able to stay at the inn and get ready there which made things much easier on us. They had our signature drinks, champagne, and food ready and waiting for all the guests as soon as the ceremony was over. I have been to weddings where the entire cocktail hour we were just waiting on line to get a drink, this was perfectly set up. Drinks were also being continually poured and served at an inside and an outside bar, and if you couldn’t make it to the bar there was always a server nearby to help. There was even one server who was assigned just to us, he went above and beyond, always made sure we had anything we needed, always getting us drinks or more food, it was wonderful. And the food… the food was simply amazing - usually wedding food can be boring, or like it was just mass produced and pumped out of the kitchen, but their food was perfect. I am still thinking about the short rib and our guests are still raving about it over a month later. Literally one guest saying it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. And the space is so beautiful, there are so many lovely place for photos, and really makes it seem like you are in an enchanted place. The bridge over the little babbling brook for a first look, the garden ceremony by the pond, the cocktail hour on the patio, are just to name a few of the perfect spots on the property. And having our Photo Booth inside on the velvet couch was a unique touch guests really enjoyed! Not to mention getting our own private cottage to stay in! We also were able to move inside to the bar after the wedding was over with just the couple guests that were staying with us at the Inn and it was a lovely way to wind down after all the festivities were over. The entire team at The Bird and Bottle Inn truly went above and beyond to ensure our special day was everything we dreamed it would be. We couldn't have asked for a more magical venue to celebrate our love

We cannot say enough amazing things about Bello Giorno Estate. The location of the estate is adjacent to a small river, which made for absolutely spectacular wedding photos. Think Secret Garden meets Italian Villa! We also loved the intimate feel of the banquet hall, which was the perfect fit for our wedding size. Our guests loved the food and service. Even though we planned our wedding remotely, working with Monica and Stephanie was incredibly easy, as they were very responsive to both email and phone calls. We felt like they went above and beyond to accommodate us and tailor our wedding so it would be perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to hold our wedding. Thank you Bello Giorno!

I recently had my wedding at the Madison Hotel. I can say that my wedding was the wedding I always dreamed of. From beginning to end, the staff was very professional, especially my Maitre'd Joe Zimmerman and his assistant Jose. From the day of the rehearsal till the next day of the wedding they were fantastic. We held our rehearsal dinner at Rods and the food was phenomenal. The day of the wedding, the ceremony was held in the dreamy conservatory and the reception was in the grand ballroom. The transition went seamlessly. They worked very well with all my vendors, DJ, photographer, and string quartet. I had a decorator that they let her come in to stage early and when the conservatory and ballroom were available, they let her right in. They also provided us with a bridal suite for us the get ready in the day of. The whole staff was very attentive and courteous. The food was absolutely amazing at cocktail hour and the reception, we had no complaints! Two bars with top shelf liquor was available the whole night. At the end of the night we had a sparkler sendoff, the staff knew exactly what to do and it all worked out perfectly. We stood at the hotel both nights. The night of the rehearsal we had separate king size bedrooms and the wedding night they provide us with a complimentary honeymoon suite, which was amazing. I highly recommend the Madison Hotel.

Beaverkill Valley Inn's setting is perfect - an ideal location for gathering your guests for a weekend getaway. From the welcoming front porch to the cozy fireplaces and the expansive property complete with bonfires to conclude your evening, it offers everything you could want. Our guests were constantly amazed, often asking, "How did you find this incredible place?" Their admiration extended to the Inn's staff as well. Don’t overlook the Short Hills Hilton for your wedding! It was the perfect location for our big day, offering a central gathering spot where our guests didn’t have to worry about traveling throughout the day. We explored several traditional venues, but none felt as right as this one. We had a November wedding and didn’t expect to have an outdoor ceremony, but the hotel’s lovely patio space was a wonderful option, and surprisingly, the noise from the JFK Parkway wasn’t an issue. For our indoor ceremony, the venue features a permanent enclosed tent structure. At first glance, it didn’t seem like much, but with the help of the event coordinator Vivian Cohen’s help and coordination with our florist, the space was transformed into something breathtaking. The reception space was spacious and perfect for our 170 guests—large enough for everyone to feel comfortable but not so big that it felt empty. Guests still rave about the food and service! The chef and maître d' truly deserve all the praise. The hors d’oeuvres were diverse and delicious, from sliders to a pasta bar to sushi. We chose the salmon and short ribs for dinner, which we selected during a private tasting session. The hotel grounds, filled with foliage, were perfect for photos, especially as we were lucky to have beautiful fall colors for our shoot. Victoria at the Hilton was incredibly helpful with coordinating room blocks, hotel room gift bags, and storage. Vivian was a dream to work with—she was welcoming, communicative, and made everything run smoothly. Her checklist was a lifesaver for keeping track of details, and she was hands-on with day-of coordination, ensuring everyone knew where they needed to be and helping with the little touches that made everything perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to help make our wedding day unforgettable!

Their people are just phenomenal, from their planning staff to the day-of coordination. They go above and beyond to ensure every detail is perfect, allowing couples to truly relax and enjoy their wedding celebration. Literally, nothing is left up to chance! For couples seeking a truly personalized ceremony and reception, I can't recommend the Olde Mill highly enough. Where do I even begin? We got married at the Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn on May 23, 2024, and it was nothing short of perfect. The entire wedding planning process was made easy thanks to everyone at the OldMill Inn and Grain House. They are very responsive, which is crucial when planning a wedding. My grandmother and grandfather had their wedding reception here back in 1957, so I knew I wanted to meet with them to discuss having my wedding there. It was the first and only venue we met with. After going on a tour and discussing the different packages with Lea, I was sold. They take care of your accommodations, catering, bar, cake, tables, chairs, etc. My wedding planning “to-do” list was cut in half! Everyone is so accommodating and they really work with you to make sure your day goes perfectly. So many guests told us how they never experienced wedding food to this level. Everything was DELICIOUS! Better yet, we actually got to eat as the bride and groom. The property itself is gorgeous. John was our Matre d’ and he was the best! He made sure we stayed on time, he ran food from the cocktail hour to me and my husband when we were taking photos, and he coordinated with our vendors so we didn’t have to worry. His efforts did not go unnoticed. Once again I had guests come up to me and tell me how amazing he is. I also had guests reach out after to tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. All of our vendors were fantastic but the Old Mill Inn and Grain House really did the bulk of the work to make it an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself was wonderful to stay in, everything was so clean and the breakfast was delicious. I wouldn’t change a thing about my wedding day, everything was perfect and I really have the Old Mill Inn and the Grain House to thank for that. I would recommend the Old Mill Inn and the GrainHouse to anyone planning a wedding. It really is the ONLY choice in my opinion. You will not be disappointed.
