“Rie was a lifesaver! I had initially reached out to a different vendor in September of 2024 and we had an ongoing conversation while I considered pricing through November. We had a verbal agreement to work together but before she sent me her contract she ghosted me. I thought it was because the holidays were coming up and we all get busy at the end of the year. But mid-January come along, I had not heard back, and I was a little over two months away from my wedding! I reached out to a ton of makeup artists, and Rie was among the first to respond. She was so understanding from the get-go and her kindness paired with her makeup style was what sold me! Immediately, I knew she was who I wanted to work for. Rie provided makeup services for me and five of my six bridesmaids by herself. She was even able to work with me to find time to do a makeup trial despite both our busy schedules (getting married in the off season I'm sure helped). She worked so efficiently and even finished before our scheduled time, and provided us all with little touch up kits. I tend to not wear too much makeup and the same goes for most of my bridesmaids, and Rie was able to take her "natural makeup" style and personalize it to everyone. I only wear makeup on special occasions, and when I do, I tend to be hyper aware of my face and the makeup on it. But Rie's application was so good, that I did not think about the makeup on my face once throughout the ten hour day. The natural makeup style might not be for everyone, the same way full glam is not for me, but if you lean that way, I highly recommend working with Rie!”

“High Voltage was the preferred vendor for my wedding venue (Swan Lake Caterers) and holy helllllll they did NOT disappoint! They have an easy to use planning form where you can put song requests and they even give song suggestions for all the different dances and special moments for your big day. The company is so put together and well run— always reaching out to check in and give updates and they answered all correspondence promptly. Our MC, Anthony, was there for us from day one and helped in all of our planning. At our one month out meeting, Anthony sat with us and went over every detail. He’s enthusiastic and clearly loves what he does. This enthusiasm showed the night of the wedding as he got everyone on their feet and dancing all night long! Next up is Billy, our fantastic DJ! He clearly knew how to read the room and get the party started. He has lots of experience and it shows as he started with the perfect “wedding” songs to get people up and moving. As the night progressed, he seamlessly shifted to keep the younger crowd up and dancing. They played all of our requested songs and added in ones I wish I would’ve thought of! I swear Anthony and Billy were like psychics with the way that they read the room and kept everyone entertained from start to finish. I will only be using HVDJ for all of my future parties! 10/10 recommend!”

“Choosing a wedding venue is one of the biggest decisions you'll make during the planning process and I can confidently say, choosing Swan Lake Caterers was the best decision we made. I’m so excited to write this review so other couples can have a similarly incredible experience! I looked everywhere around the tri-state area from Jersey, to Connecticut, all the boroughs (including Staten Island!!) to all over Long Island. Swan Lake Caterers was actually the first venue I visited, and I fell in love instantly. But, like many brides, I was indecisive. I kept searching, trying to be sure… and after every other tour, I kept coming back to Swan Lake in my heart, I had a feeling it was the one! And it absolutely was. The entire day was seamless, magical, and full of joy. One of the most touching things someone said to me was from my sister. She told me, “So many brides can’t enjoy their wedding day because there’s so much going on but we could see in your face how carefree and happy you were. You were truly having fun” This was in large part due to Swan Lake Caterers allowing me to focus on my husband, family and friends. They gave us peace of mind, beautiful surroundings, and the freedom to be fully present in every moment. The food was out of this world, our guests are still talking about it! Sophia and Charlie really catered to what we wanted and to our guests’ dietary needs! Including three of our vegan family members. The venue itself was picture perfect. It was elegant, romantic, and timeless! One of my guests said it looked like it was out of a Disney movie. Elena, our maitre-d worked with me in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure the decor and vibe was everything we wanted. She knocked it out of the park! Even though it was a little chilly, and started to drizzle, Sophia was in contact with us in the week leading up to it, to make sure everyone was comfortable temperature wise. They were so unimaginably attentive to us! The day of, Elena made sure that even without a rehearsal everything went off without a hitch. Speaking of attentiveness, Jill, my bridal attendant, was simply amazing. She made sure we had drinks in our hand, food on our plates, helped me fix the train on my dress a million and one times. I’m pretty sure they helped one of my guests fix a ripped dress? Seriously. People said it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to! If you're thinking about getting married here, stop thinking and just say YES. I can’t express how incredibly grateful I am to Swan Lake Caterers and would love it for every other couple (and their guests) to have a similar experience!”

The planning process: Ana & Jimmy were there every step of the way to talk through all of our ideas and answer any questions that we had. They were always super responsive, professional and helpful. My dad passed away 1 month after we got engaged and I was certain that I needed to memorialize him in some way at the wedding. Since, I couldn’t have the traditional father-daughter dance experience with him, I had an idea to do a tribute to him in the form of a customized song and dance with my mom. I gave Ana and Jimmy my ideas and what I was looking for and they created the most beautiful tribute to my dad I could have ever imagined. It was truly beautiful was executed perfectly. Ana and Jimmy are the most genuine and kind people and truly bend over backwards to make you happy. Cocktail hour: My guests were in awe at how amazing the acoustic set was during cocktail hour. Multiple guests stopped me to tell me how wonderful and talented JD was during this set. This really amped everyone up for the reception. Reception: The reception was electric! The dance floor was packed ALL night long and guests stopped me constantly to tell me how great the band was. Ana and Jimmy not only are amazing performers but they also worked the room and were very interactive with us and our guests. Truly the best night and one of the best choices we made for our wedding. Not only are Jimmy and Ana both incredibly talented, they are genuinely passionate about this work and it radiates through all that they do. If you are considering hiring them for your event, I highly recommend that you do. I would have regretted it if we didn’t.”
