Because seeing even just our highlight photos this weekend was an experience I will never forget. They were beyond my wildest dreams and I will truly treasure them forever. What I will treasure more, though, is the memories we have of working with Janelle and her team, including Mary, our second shooter of the day, who was able to wrangle all of the groomsmen together and keep them excited and organized, and who also was capturing each and every single detail so beautifully; and Kevin, who was a very much welcome third-shooter who was our personal hype man throughout the entire day, as he was genuinely excited to be with us and was truly up for anything. Literally, the entire team went along with my crazy plea to go outside despite the fact that it was pouring the entire day, but there was a 10 minute block of sun that we chased and thank goodness we did. They also agreed to photograph us in the rain at the end of the night and those pictures, too, are just magical. This review could truly go on forever about how much we love Janelle and her team. I wanted to embrace my natural curls for my wedding so it was important to me to find someone I could trust to handle curly hair. Nicole made me feel at ease (she has naturally curly hair) and at my trial I knew I made the right decision. She even emailed me ideas to help get closer to my hair vision in the time between my trial and wedding. She also specializes in natural glam which is exactly what I wanted- to look like myself, but enhanced. She brought Cassi for makeup and Nichole for hair for my mom, sisters, and niece, and they both killed it. It was misty/rainy all day and both my hair and makeup held up great. I got to reunite with Nicole at my sister’s wedding four months later :)”

“I am a Filipino and so is my bridal party. I really needed someone who understood an Asian face. I also needed someone who could listen to me, my needs and those of my party to help us all look and feel our best. Rie delivered and more! From planning the day and on our trial, Rie was very kind, open to suggestions and creative when it came to my vision. She was patient to try out the different hair dos I wanted to sample. On the day, she amped up her talent and made me look even more beautiful than when she met me for a trial. Even my FIL thought so! You know it’s real when men notice! Haha. She also took care of my mother, who is hard to please, but was able to say good things about her hair and make up that same day too. Overall what a beautiful experience. “My wedding was on December 9th and I have been eager to write this review to share my experience with High Voltage. While I worked with many vendors, High Voltage went absolutely above and beyond. Prior to the wedding day, I met with Anthony several times so that he could get to know us and understand what music and atmosphere worked best for us. I felt like we worked as a team to finalize all of the details. It was a perfect mix of them letting us do what we wanted while also providing us with recommendations based on their expertise and what had worked best in the past. The entire day they exceeded above and beyond and didn’t miss a beat. They performed music and video services for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They had check ins with us throughout the day to make sure everything was working well from the temperature of the room to the uplighting to the vibe of the music. One unique quality that High voltage has is their ability to combine music with videography. At first I wasn’t sure if I should add on the videography but it was 1000000% worth it. They created 3 reels for us and filmed my ceremony as a surprise which was the best surprise ever. Every single add on was worth it from the dancing on the cloud, to the additional uplifting, to the reel, to the DJ booth, to the CO 2 cannons. Anthony even stepped in to help last minute when I wanted to donate my bouquet to my mom by facilitating the speech when I was feeling overwhelmed to talk in front of people. I still have people raving about their services… people from ages of 12 to 94 years old. I loved how you could pick the layout for the DJ booth and you got a special album after. The turnaround time for the reel was unmatched. Angelo’s work with the reel was 1000000/10. I got back the content in less than two weeks. I never once felt in the dark and most importantly I didn’t just feel like a number to them. I honestly can’t say one bad or negative thing about them. Thank you for making our day so special!!!”

“Choosing a wedding venue is one of the biggest decisions you'll make during the planning process and I can confidently say, choosing Swan Lake Caterers was the best decision we made. I’m so excited to write this review so other couples can have a similarly incredible experience! I looked everywhere around the tri-state area from Jersey, to Connecticut, all the boroughs (including Staten Island!!) to all over Long Island. Swan Lake Caterers was actually the first venue I visited, and I fell in love instantly. But, like many brides, I was indecisive. I kept searching, trying to be sure… and after every other tour, I kept coming back to Swan Lake in my heart, I had a feeling it was the one! And it absolutely was. The entire day was seamless, magical, and full of joy. One of the most touching things someone said to me was from my sister. She told me, “So many brides can’t enjoy their wedding day because there’s so much going on but we could see in your face how carefree and happy you were. You were truly having fun” This was in large part due to Swan Lake Caterers allowing me to focus on my husband, family and friends. They gave us peace of mind, beautiful surroundings, and the freedom to be fully present in every moment. The food was out of this world, our guests are still talking about it! Sophia and Charlie really catered to what we wanted and to our guests’ dietary needs! Including three of our vegan family members. The venue itself was picture perfect. It was elegant, romantic, and timeless! One of my guests said it looked like it was out of a Disney movie. Elena, our maitre-d worked with me in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure the decor and vibe was everything we wanted. She knocked it out of the park! Even though it was a little chilly, and started to drizzle, Sophia was in contact with us in the week leading up to it, to make sure everyone was comfortable temperature wise. They were so unimaginably attentive to us! The day of, Elena made sure that even without a rehearsal everything went off without a hitch. Speaking of attentiveness, Jill, my bridal attendant, was simply amazing. She made sure we had drinks in our hand, food on our plates, helped me fix the train on my dress a million and one times. I’m pretty sure they helped one of my guests fix a ripped dress? Seriously. People said it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to! If you're thinking about getting married here, stop thinking and just say YES. I can’t express how incredibly grateful I am to Swan Lake Caterers and would love it for every other couple (and their guests) to have a similar experience!”

They well exceeded our musical playlist, taking the songs we requested and tailoring the rest of the music to fit the vibe. There was a perfect mix of live songs and an awesome dj set. So many people reached out that night or the next day to say how impressed they were with Ana, Jimmy & the whole band. We also had an acoustic guitar player at our cocktail hour which was amazing.
