“Where do we even begin? Starting with our engagement shoot, Mark and Beth made us feel so comfortable, and were so good at capturing the way we feel about each other. They have a great eye for what will make a good shot and we’re super attentive to details. They made the shoot so fun and we ended up with a great mix of formal shots and more fun/spicy shots. We had originally planned to just do our engagement shoot with them, as we were getting married out of state but when we got the proofs back, there was no question about paying the travel cost to have them capture our wedding day. “We had Makena as our wedding photographer for our November wedding. She was absolutely amazing to work with! It has taken me a little bit to write a review because there's a million things I could write about and narrowing it down was a task. First, she was more than willing to meet with us well before the wedding to go over what to expect because we were in the dark about the whole wedding process so knowing what we needed to tell a photographer was new to us. She went above and beyond. As a bride I was a little stressed that day and she helped me in everyway. She gave advice, was so generous as to go and receive something I needed, even went to check on things and communicated things for me. I never would have expected that but it honestly helped me out tremendously and actually was a main point to helping the wedding go so smoothly. My husband and I aren't exactly comfortable taking pictures and I was nervous because I wouldn't know how we were suppose to pose or anything like that. “Ari was great to work with! He was communicative, professional and always thinking of the details. There were options to fit our budget as well. Mark was our photographer and WOW HOLY COW! He was fun to work with and had this innate ability to bring out the best in everyone when capturing all the special moments. Then we received our digital photos, and they were absolutely spectacular! We were so impressed. Mark caught all moments with our family, friends and us, the bride and groom, that were loving, happy, beautiful, comedic, unexpected, reflective... We are in awe with all the shots and the quality. They are amazing. Ari also worked with us to do some minor editing on a few photos and organize them into a drop site. Definitely recommend Ari and Mark 100%!”

She did a great job understanding what we were looking for, which was mostly documentary style photography of the ceremony, and family portraits afterwards.
