Our newly renovated event barn, lit by wrought iron chandeliers and candle sconces, surrounded by horses in green pastures, creates a rustic-elegant oasis for a truly memorable occasion. Three large carriage doors allow for a covered yet sunlit space, where guests may mingle for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, or accommodate a formal sit down meal for up to 60. The polished floors double as a dance floor inviting guests to dance the night away beneath the warm glow of the chandeliers! Just beyond the carriage doors, our flat grass arena provides unlimited space for a large sail-cloth tent, with ample room for a caterer’s tent along side. Wyndcrest Estate Venue is set up a bit differently, which is something we pride ourselves on! We are exclusive in the sense that we host only one wedding a weekend and we give wedding parties the entire weekend to enjoy their big day! This includes the day before for set up and rehearsal, the day of for the event, and the day after for cleanup. Additionally, onsite housing allows for the parties to gather throughout the entire weekend. We do not have a preferred list of caterers, in order to allow you to chose however you would like to celebrate your wedding. Locust Grove Estate is an unforgettable setting for weddings throughout the year, overlooking the Hudson River that combines the charm of the 19th century with the comfort of the 21st. Our West Gallery, located in the Arts-&-Crafts style Museum Pavilion, offers a unique setting for weddings. Guests can enjoy cocktails on the covered terrace and shaded courtyard, then dine and dance in an elegant gallery with hardwood floors, a cathedral ceiling, and three walls of windows and French doors providing access to the estate’s 200 acres of gardens and grounds. The West Gallery comfortably accommodates between 50 and 150 guests for dinner and dancing, while the adjacent Garden Lawn may also be rented for a ceremony overlooking the perennial gardens.
