My husband and I had our wedding at Blenheim Hill Farm this past weekend 10/26/2024 and it was an absolute dream. Not only was it the dreamiest wedding because we got married in front of all of the people we love, but because of the absolutely beautiful venue and the team that brought it to life. Morten & Min, the owners were so helpful, kind and just the brightest lights from the moment we met them when we toured the venue through the planning phase and our wedding day. They clearly have a very buttoned up and efficient process, which showed the day of. Now let me talk about the rest of staff … they are AMAZING. We worked with Lawrence and Rosie the weeks leading up to our wedding and the day of and not only did they go above and beyond at their jobs, they truly seemed so happy to be there. There were a number of other team members behind the scenes that helped bring together a seamless wedding (we barely even noticed them - in a good way!) so thank you to the team. This includes the chefs cooking it up in the kitchen, while we didn’t see you … we were told by friends and family how delicious the food was / it was the best wedding food they ever had. The risotto…. Oh my was it delicious!! Another amazing benefit of Blenheim Hill Farm was their recommended babysitter, Victoria - she watched 5 of the kids who attended ceremony but not reception right on the grounds. She made arts and crafts and carved pumpkins with them! The parents and kids were very happy with her. Lastly, all we have to say is….. GET MARRIED HERE!!!!

The Outlier Inn

5.0

Woodridge, NY
  • Up to 250 guests
  • Select services
  • Outdoor & indoor
  • Starts at $15,000
  • Offer

Nestled in the tranquil Catskill Mountains, just 90 miles from bustling NYC, lies The Outlier Inn—a serene 14-acre property. Here, amidst nature's embrace, we offer a haven from the city's hustle and bustle. Our versatile space serves as a retreat center, event venue, workshop hub, and even boasts a fiber and vegetable farm alongside a top-tier recording studio. We offer a variety of on-site accommodations which are included in our weekend Wedding Package. Whether your vision is an intimate gathering or a lavish celebration, we're dedicated to crafting your dream wedding into reality.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Space for a large guest list
  • Has onsite accommodations
  • Has a fun and festive vibe

Venue considerations

  • Does not have a dance floor
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
  • No venue-provided food services
The Outlier Inn is truly one-of-a-kind, offering so much more than your typical wedding venue. From the start, we knew it was something special. One of our favorite aspects was being able to bring all of our loved ones together in one place for the entire weekend, creating a unique experience where our family and friends were “trapped” in the best way—celebrating and bonding without distractions. If you’re someone who loves to party under the stars, and you enjoy envisioning and creating fun, personalized spaces, this is the venue for you. The property itself is a hidden gem, full of surprises at every turn. There’s so much to explore, from the charming tiny houses scattered throughout, to the inviting homemade hot tub and peaceful sauna, to the quirky hidden thrift shop/barn. We held our ceremony in the newly added amphitheater nestled in the woods—an intimate space surrounded by towering trees, creating a perfect natural backdrop for our vows. We were lucky with beautiful September weather, and the sound of our friends laughing and exploring the grounds will forever be a cherished memory. Josh, the owner of The Outlier, truly made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we met him, we knew this was “our” place. He is warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. During our first tour of the property, Josh even let us bottle-feed his adorable baby goat, “Frip”—a moment that will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Leading up to the wedding, Josh was always available to offer guidance and advice, and throughout the weekend, his calm presence was a steady source of reassurance. Whether he was setting up bonfires, handling speakers and microphones, or just checking in on us, Josh ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in every moment of our celebration. The only downside to having our wedding at The Outlier Inn is that we almost want to keep it a secret—it’s so magical, we’d love to keep it all to ourselves! But in all honesty, The Outlier Inn is an extraordinary venue, and we can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. Thank you, Josh, for making our weekend so unforgettable!

Casa del Monte

5.0

Loch Sheldrake, NY

Your Dream Oasis for a Magical Catskills Wedding. This secluded, breathtaking estate is situated on 10 acres and 3 private bodies of water, with its own private island. The property emanates sacred energy. Over time, it has served us a venue for weddings (from Chassidic to Hindu and all in between), as well as yoga and intimacy retreats, and concerts. The landscaping is designed around a sacred octagonal shape — w/ an octagonal gazebo on the island, and the main house being an octagon as well. Parking for 80+ cars, and lots of vendor staging areas. Hold your ceremony near a majestic lakeside weeping willow tree, on the island (inside or outside of gazebo), or in a clearing surrounded by flowers, facing the lake. Includes a 1,400 sq ft separated poolhouse for indoor cocktails, a beautifully appointed honeymoon suite w/ private kitchen/living room, and a 3BR main house, w/ wrap-around balcony overlooking the water, 20-foot tall stone fireplace, and a majestic 700 sq ft main BR.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Rustic yet refined style
  • Multiple event spaces
  • Pets can join the celebration

Venue considerations

  • Lighting and sound are not included
  • Best for events with big guest lists
  • Does not provide event staff
My wife and I had the pleasure of attending an event at this beautiful site. The suite they offered was on a private floor and had a spacious and exeptionally clean bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living area. The outside grounds included small bodies of water, one with a bridge to a small island. The island had a gazebo and sacred site where we sat and meditated together. We felt so at peace as we enjoyed a light breeze coming through the willow tress. There were many lounging areas with hammocks, rocking chairs, and even a large fire places outside the pool house. We can't be more grateful for our experience here as my wife and I reached a new level of intimacy with each other. The hosts we were very accommodating and made us feel at home. We can't recommend this place enough!
