The chapel was so beautiful and such a great little spot off the side of 355. Our guests still comment on the simplicity of how we decorated the chapel, and how beautiful the white walls and natural light streaming in were during the ceremony. \n\nI was not sure how we'd get group photos on the property... and our photographers were able to use the beautiful stone and green areas within the venue to capture the most beautiful photos of the bride, groom and the wedding party! \n\nGuests are still RAVING about how convenient it was to walk up a few stairs to the cocktail hour AND into the reception. They marveled at the ease... park your car, attend the ceremony and then stay and party all night long until it's time to leave! \n\nThe reception hall was beautiful; the buffet food was to die for; and Meghan and Brandi ensured that EVERY detail of our wedding day was accounted for, seamless and flowing without any hitch! \n\nI cannot recommend Milton Ridge enough! We loved the ease of booking the venue, touring with Thuy, and the promptness and flexibility they offer. An added bonus is the available on site lodging for rental, which we made great use of for our close friends, family, and wedding party to stay in the night before and night of the wedding. We enjoyed the Great Room in the Grist Mill for our rehearsal dinner. Our guests loved how spacious Drumore Mill was, and we appreciated all the attention to detail such as included (but still optional) decor and greenery, and the setup of chairs and other items for the ceremony space. Being able to bring in all of our own vendors at no additional cost was fantastic. The value for renting the property from Thursday to Saturday morning was unmatched and completely worth it. We are so grateful for Donna, the venue owner and her staff for a day we will never forget. The views were amazing, everywhere. The Barn was just what we were looking for, all of our friends and family loved it. We cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Donna was very professional, detail oriented, and super to work with. She gave us exactly what we asked for and everything we didn't know we needed. Terry, our Ostertag Wedding Coordinator, made perfect recommendations based on who we are, and filled in with so many details we didn't even know to ask about. The staff as well were extremely friendly and easy to work with from the Bartender to the Parking Attendants and especially the Wait Staff. After our wedding, our families and guests could not say enough good things about our wedding day at Ostertag. We had 120 guests and a wedding party of 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen. We had our ceremony at Fernwood, surrounded by gorgeous trees and a storybook brook, it was like a fairytale! We rented their arbor, and barn doors for the ceremony, perfect for making this space a magical dream come true. Our cocktail hour was on the Patio and our guests could also go into the Stable making this hour very spacious and inviting. When it was time for our reception, the staff escorted our guest to the main barn and helped our elderly grandparents with the escorted golf cart. The golf cart was also used to help our Grandparents get to the ceremony site and back to the cocktail hour, it was wonderful not to worry about how we would help them around that day. The main dining room in the Barn was setup by the Ostertag staff and when we entered, we were in ahh, everything looked amazing and just perfect. I will never forget our first dance. Our sweetheart table was setup in front of the fireplace, it was so intimate and just perfect! We provided the decor along with some Ostertag rentals, Terry and her staff placed it all together for the perfect setting. After dinner service, the staff moved our wedding cake to the middle of the dance floor for our formal cake cutting, they then sliced and served our cake to the guests as we danced the night away. The staff provided a perfect Coffee Station with Tea and Hot Chocolate for our guests to enjoy as well. Everything flowed well and as planned, and guests were easily able to move around and find everything. Again, I cannot say enough about how wonderful this venue was. The day of our wedding, I did not feel stressed or worried about any details coming together because I knew everything was prepared and being taken care of by Donna, Terry, and their capable staff. Alyssa is very professional, detail oriented, and super easy to work with. She gave us exactly what we asked for and everything we didn't know we needed. She made perfect recommendations based on who we are as a couple, and filled in the gaps with details we had forgotten about. The staff as well was extremely friendly and easy to work with. After our wedding, our families, guests, photographer, and DJ could not say enough good things about Alyssa and the staff here! Maryland National Golf Club itself provided a beautiful, intimate setting for our wedding. We had a little over 90 guests and a wedding party of 4 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen. We used the outdoor ceremony space and rented white chairs from the venue. They were set up exactly the way we asked, and it turned out beautiful. We also rented their white arbor for the ceremony itself and asked for it to be set up in front of the beautiful greenery and plants on the right side. We provided decorations for the chairs and the arbor, and Alyssa and her staff set everything up perfectly. We also used the inside, upstairs space for our reception. We decided to have our sweet-heart table in front of big windows, and the tables for our guests set up around the rented dance floor in the center of the room. Appetizers and food were served in the space to the right of of their fireplace. Again, it was intimate and perfect! We provided decor for the tables as well and rented their candle vases and Alyssa made everything so beautiful. Everything flowed well, and guests were easily able to move around and find everything. We also used their catering services, and everything was phenomenal! Another aspect of our wedding that our guests could not say enough about. Again, I cannot say enough about how wonderful this venue was. The Berrys are insightful and very observant, and do a really great job of listening to you and understanding what is important to you and your future spouse.\nAs we talked about what we wanted we asked for some special ceremonial aspects specific to us. It was perfectly integrated. We were looking for something a little less traditional but also with the familiar structure so that the more traditional family members would follow along without too much confusion. It was the perfect balance. I honestly I’m just so happy my now wife found the Berrys. There is a lot that goes into a wedding and we can be worried about decorations, and invites, the family politics and food, djs, catering… but the most important part at the end of the day is 30min ceremony where the officiant make you married. I think Jon was just an amazing human and I’m so happy he could stand with us and marry us.
