Prior to our wedding we had a lengthy call with Sean; my husband and I were very picky with our wedding playlist and had a rule of absolutely no traditional wedding reception songs or line-dances. We love electronic dance music (EDM) and wanted our wedding to be "festival/show vibes". Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. “Tony made my daughter's wedding reception a wonderful time. He was both professional and fun and the music he played was perfect. He kept the reception running smoothly by introducing all the events and made sure he did so when the photographer was there for a picture. Dan and his team were so easy to work with, and their 5-piece DJ band was the perfect, fun switch-up from a traditional band for our June wedding at Greenpoint Loft. We also had a ceremony guitarist and a saxophonist with tracks for the cocktail hour, which added great touches to the day. The uplights they brought for the room were priced very well and created a beautiful atmosphere. The music planning worksheet they provided was incredibly helpful, and they offered valuable advice on the timeline and flow of the reception, which was a huge help. They were fun to work with, and on the night of the wedding, they absolutely crushed it. The music was fantastic, they kept the vibes high, and their crowd engagement was excellent. “When my husband and I started our wedding planning journey, we wanted to find a DJ that would be able to play music form both my culture (Haitian) and my husbands (Puerto Rican). During my search, his business popped up on IG. I went through his IG profile and knew he was the one I wanted. I sent his profile to my husband and he sold. What also sold us was all the extra services he had! Everything all in one place. In all I booked the sparklers, smoke machine, 360 Photo Booth, an Emcee, and gobo lights. My first dance, OMG. Guests are sending me videos they took. Being in the experience was one thing. Watching the videos, I couldn’t stop crying at how beautiful it turned out. The smoke machine and sparklers just brought everything together. Everyone RAVED about the 360 booth. And the MUSIC. We didnt stop moving all night. I got so many phone calls that week about how great the music was, how sore people were from dancing all night lol. We had a diverse group of people and he was able to reach everyone. “Now for the details: Brandon, Kellie, Elmer, and Becky were excellent to work with. They were communicative throughout the entire process and even sent monthly checklists to ensure the wedding planning timeline was ironed out and reminded you of the small details that most folks forget about. It’s the little things like these emails that went above and beyond to make sure our evening went as smoothly as possible. Our DJ, Elmer, was very enthusiastic despite challenges at the beginning of the event – the venue coordinator was very combative with him during set-up – and he didn’t let it affect the energy of the evening. (We didn’t find out until after the wedding date from our other vendors setting up and we had to reach out and ask about it because he didn’t want us to worry at all). He provided a high energy level and hits for dancing the whole evening and stuck to our favorite music vibes. Our photo booth operator, Becky, pulled us aside to take photos in the booth and thank goodness she did because we didn’t get the chance to go in before or after she pulled us aside. She put our guestbook together throughout the evening and it was fun to have something that captured our night to look through the next morning. Signature DJs was reasonably priced considering everything we received - music for ceremony & reception, mics, uplighting for dance floor, photo booth with guest book, monogram, and bubble exit complete with 2 bubble machines and bubbles for individual guests. They were flexible with our requests (customized monogram, unconventional timeline, and last-minute song additions) and had already worked at our venue so they were already familiar with the space which was super helpful because the venue coordinator was awful to work with. They put us at ease and gave us confidence that our day would be wonderful when we were the most stressed. Thank you so much, Brandon, Kellie, and team for setting the tone and giving us a memorable night!”
