We held our reception at the Tavern and the team worked with us to create the perfect winter wedding theme. The guests had a great time and really enjoyed the venue. One of my favorite things the team worked with me on was to create a late night s’mores bar out by the fire pits. Besides just holding the reception we also had our rehearsal dinner with them where they were able to work easily with all of our dietary restrictions. The majority of the wedding guests stayed at the inn and the team was super supportive of making sure the guests were able to make the most of their time area. There is a large parking area to accommodate parking for all guests. Plus they have a wonderful Inn for any guests whom want to stay overnight. I recommend The Greenwood Manor Inn to anyone asking for a wedding venue, event venue, or just a quiet relaxing place to lay their heads. Some of the team up on the mountain even helped me try to blow dry and pat dry my dress during the cocktail hour! The venue is stunning, the food was delicious, and the Omni team helped us personalize our wedding down to the tiniest details: including fun signature cocktails, little gold animals for the kids, and they even set aside apps for bride/groom during the cocktail hour- otherwise we wouldn’t have gotten to try them! They also greeted each guest off the gondola with an umbrella. Our guests said they have never felt so welcome and everyone had a blast! We were fortunate to have perfect weather the entire weekend. But the hospitality, service, food, location & splendor of a well kept historic grand dame hotel made our entire experience a spectacular, elegant and enjoyable weekend for everyone! Guests enjoyed golfing, hiking, relaxing by the pool or the veranda surrounded by gorgeous views all weekend. Friday evening we entertained our guest with a private welcome party on the South Veranda. We were able to customize a menu with the chef- treating everyone with a taste of South Indian dishes honoring the region of India our son-in-law & family are from. The ceremony & reception were held at the Rosewood Lodge at the top of Brettonwoods Ski Area. A gondola ride to the top provided a fun experience, helping to build the excitement for the main event. Having the entire lodge, patio top of mountain to ourselves made it feel exclusive and very special. Accommodations- the MW is a magnificent grand historic hotel beautifully decorated with beautiful grounds. It is clean & well maintained for being 125 year old large busy hotel. The bride & groom had their 1st look at the main hotel- providing a beautiful setting & capturing the grandeur of the hotel. Service & Hospitality- in a word it was-Outstanding! The wedding consultant(Katarina Doucette- Senior Catering Sales Manager) was so helpful, accommodating & responsive throughout the entire process. Every staff member from the banquet coordinators, chef, servers, hotel cleaning staff & front desk took such special care of us - despite being a busy summer weekend we felt we were exclusive guests of the hotel. A special shout out to the gondola operators- they were so helpful getting our wedding decorations loaded & up/down the mountain. They even enthusiastically decorated the bride & grooms gondola with lighting for a crazy/fun send off at the end of the night! To end the weekend - we had a delicious Sunday brunch buffet for our guests in the beautiful main dining room. \nWe utilized nearly every area & aspect of the Mount Washington Resort and had great experiences the entire weekend! Weddings are expensive but we felt every penny we spent was well worth it and appreciated at The Omni Mount Washington Resort. I literally cannot sing their praises enough for how perfect they helped make our day.\nThe 1812 Farm was the perfect venue for our July 2024 Wedding and we could not be happier with the experience we had working with Sarah, Olivia, and the larger team. The 1812's team is not only super responsive, but extremely helpful as a sounding board. Any questions we had were answered promptly, any ideas we wanted to float were approached thoughtfully, and this team truly lessened any kind of wedding planning stress.\nAs for the venue itself, it was gorgeous. The flowers were in bloom in the garden where we had our ceremony and the inner venue where we had our reception was so well put together. The 1812 team set all my decorations up for me after I provided an example of what I was going for and that immediately lessened any day-of stress that morning. Both my husband's half of the party and my own had plenty of space to get ready separately in the Bristol Suite on site too, which was perfect. Having prep in the same place as ceremony and reception just streamlined our entire day. I also love that even when the lights were dimmed inside later in the night for dancing, there was still plenty of light to see and talk by and our guests adored the outdoor bar and thought it was super cute.\nThe 1812 also uses Stone Cove Catering and we loved the ease of building out the menu with the same people we already were in contact with for the venue. It made everything so smooth and we knew there would be no confusion or fuss as meals were served because the caterers are the venue and know the routine and space. Once the party actually started after dinner, I had multiple guests come up to me to rave about how good dinner and cocktail hour apps were- literally so good that multiple people made comments about it right after eating. Can't ask for better than that.
