I grew up in a small town in the San Juan Islands of Washington State and feel a strong connection to the outdoors. You'll notice this when viewing my work, too. My craft, is finding intimacy in moments that some may not see, initially. The small moments that lie outside of standard traditions and expectations but mean something to you. I work differently because of this too, and I pride myself on being an artist that captures your life as it unfolds, however that may look.

Get an authentic experience with photographers who truly just “get you”. We got started photographing couples and traditional weddings in 2017, but it made us so sad to see couples stressed out to the max on their wedding day, rushing around, and hardly getting to spend any actual time with their partner or their guests. After photographing a few elopements and seeing how elopements allow couples to have an intentional day where they can slow down and really soak it all in, we switched to photographing only elopements in 2019 and haven’t looked back.

My husband is my second photographer, so we come as a photo team! Just like you, I have felt awkward in front of the camera. I’ve had photos taken of me that I didn’t like. When you go on a session with me, I will not only make you feel comfortable, but I will make sure you look good! I will give you prompts to keep you moving so you look and feel natural and comfortable. I’m sorry but there are some angles, and poses that are not flattering for everyone.
