i grew up in europe and from the age of 10 used analogue film cameras. i eventually became a fashion/people photographer in milan, austria, new york city and LA. the nostalgia of polaroids inspired me to make weddings films in a more abstract and ephemeral way, like dreams. my films aim to provide a glimpse of what it felt like on your day, conveying an unmistakable essence about you and the experience.

Hello! I’m Laura Ford, a Midwestern native who has fully adopted sunny Southern California as home. I’ve been living and working in Los Angeles & Santa Barbara since 2013, and have happily kissed winter boots and car ice scrapers goodbye forever!  As far as aesthetic goes, my photos are bright, cheerful and thoughtfully framed. Combining the perfect setting with the right color palate and a bit of art direction for my clients is my superpower. Lavender Inn is a stunning destination wedding setting in the town small valley of Ojai south of Santa Barbara.
