“Last month I got married at The Sanctuary on Roosevelt Island, and I had the pleasure of working with Jackie Fanara, an artist from Melissa’s makeup team. She was an absolute joy to work with from start to finish- it felt like hanging out with an old friend! She is so incredible at making her clients feel comfortable, listened to, and pampered. She went completely above and beyond- when the bridal party was finishing photos outside and it started pouring, she got SOAKED while shielding my bridesmaids and making sure everyone was able to get safely from the park to the vehicles to inside the venue. She literally used herself as a shield and then proceeded to to help everyone get touch ups while they dried off- by the time the ceremony had started, no one would have had an idea that everyone had been rained on. By the end of the day, she was everyone’s best friend. She was an angel that day and I am so thankful she was my artist.
