“We hired Petit Eclair for our wedding and are so glad that we did!! My husband and I are both not very comfortable in front of the camera so we were nervous for our wedding. However, we found Daria and had the chance to meet with her over coffee to talk about our day, our history, our goals, and what we wanted out of a photographer. Fast forward to our wedding day. She arrived early to our venue, was cognizant of me and my girls getting ready and was able to capture all the small details without me remembering she did (she’s that amazing!!). Daria was able to photograph myself and my girls while her husband photographed my husband and his groomsmen. This was so helpful so that she didn’t miss any small moment to capture. During the ceremony at our church they both captured everything, including the small glances we gave each other, family and friend reactions, and they were very respectful of being in a church. The rest of the day went so smoothly as they came with us to several locations to shoot with our wedding party. What I really loved was that she brought a list of the poses I wanted to have done (that I told her months prior over coffee), so she could help make sure we got those done. I forgot i had requested them and I think it was so thoughtful to have remembered :) They were both SO easy going, kind, but also kept us on track if we needed to move along to keep on schedule for the day. I honestly couldn’t recommend a better wedding photographer than petit eclair. Their photos are natural, light, bright, and genuine. You won’t find anyone better!”

The photographers were understanding, great at directing guests around, and fit right into the wedding day seamlessly. We explained to her that our wedding would consist of a very short ceremony and a dinner. The rest of the night would be some games and hanging out, but no dancing. Our original vision was to have her photograph the ceremony, group shots, and the dinner and skip couple portraits. After consulting with her, she recommended skipping the dinner photos (nobody looks good while eating) and photographing the ceremony, group shots, and, since our package left us with a remaining hour, plan for couple portraits before our ceremony. It was great advice and we're happy to have the couple portraits! On the day of she was very approachable and made us feel comfortable during our private session. She was clear when directing and arranging folks for the group photos. All of the pictures turned out great! I would definitely recommend Liza for any wedding or special occasion!”

“We just received our photos back from our wedding about a month ago, and we were blown away. We had a feeling the photos would be wonderful because of how professional and attentive our photographer (Athel) was, but of course there is always still that suspense. The team at Indigo and Ivory was wonderful throughout the entire process, always communicative, and it felt like they really cared. Athel even drove a good distance to attend an open house with us at our venue, to get some ideas ahead of time around what settings would be best. He was lovely throughout the whole event, super accommodating of our special requests, and captured all the most important moments. We cannot recommend them enough, the images came out amazing and we are getting tons of compliments! If there is anything I would do differently (and this is not any knock on Indigo and Ivory, this is just general advice for anyone looking to hire any photographer), I probably would have went ahead and added a second photographer for the day (which is something they offer). I wanted to cut costs a bit so we didn't go for it - but of course if you have two you will make sure to get all the different angles you are hoping for and then each person can spend a bit more time with both wedding parties to capture more of those candid moments. I also wish I had made sure to put together a better list of shots that I wanted - once again, these are items that I recommend in general and has nothing to do with Indigo and Ivory. If there are certain things you want your photographer to capture, make sure to write them down and communicate! With all that being said, even if you go with just one photographer and you happen to forget to write down all the specific moments or you just want things to be more free-flow - I 100% recommend Indigo and Ivory for you! They are wonderful and I'm so happy we have these gorgeous images to treasure for years to come.”

“We hired Chelsea to photograph our wedding, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way! Chelsea’s package offered an engagement shoot, which was super successful! It was amazing to get to know Chelsea before our big day and see how well we meshed together. On the Wedding day, she and her second shooter arrived punctually and ran on time with everything! Chelsea was able to help keep us on schedule and still get all of the photos and combinations that we wanted. She was so personable and fun to work with! She even braved the 20 degree weather, with snow and wind to help make my photography dreams come true! The Polaroid photos we received on the night of the wedding were super cute and such a great touch! I cannot wait to see her work when the gallery comes in”

“I seriously can’t put into words how amazing she was and cannot recommend her enough. She was great to have around on our wedding day and I am so happy with our photos. The groomsmen didn't have their act together, even though she provides a detailed schedule, and she was totally chill about it and was like no biggie I'll be back in 30. My fiancé commented on how awesome she was (didn't comment on any other vendors) and one of his groomsmen did too (see first pic). This was before we even saw the pics and they turned out better than I could have imagined. At one point I told her I was done taking pics I wanted to go talked to people and dance, so was a little worried if we got enough shots, but was blown away with the results. I also told her I didn't care that much about getting ready pics but wanted a lot of guest candids and she delivered. She also got way more getting ready pics than I even expected. We didn't want to spend money on a second photographer and she was fine with that and got all the pics we wanted on her own. She truly listened to what we wanted and was incredible at communication and organization. On top of that, she is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met, and truly a calming presence during all of the chaos on wedding day. I feel sooo lucky we found her.”
