He also helped curate the perfect mood for dancing with his light design, and his new Photo Booth add on gave our guests an endless source of enjoyment when they needed to catch their breath off the dance floor. (And even more enjoyment for us when we got to see all the pictures and gifs people took after the wedding!). One highlight was when Joey G handed the microphone to people in the crowd, turning our reception into an impromptu karaoke party. It was a blast! He was not only fun and engaging but also very attentive to our needs. He asked how to pronounce each name correctly for the toasts, ensuring everything went smoothly. We requested that he not take song requests, and he respected our wishes completely. The sound quality was stellar, and his equipment setup was flawless. Joey G understood our need for clean music as we had many families with young children attending, yet he still kept the atmosphere lively and fun. The dance floor was packed with all 150 guests! Joey G was also a great help with announcements, coordinating toasts, and working with friends and family to announce the newlyweds and photo groups. However, unlike some other DJ’s I met with – Alex was hyped for the disco ball idea and immediately started thinking of creative ways we could make it work! Flash forward to the wedding day – the disco ball was PERFECT! The systems this team uses to plan the wedding day is really easy to use and we appreciated the option to be able to recommend a few songs, but also have a do-not-play list as well. We had let Alex know the varying ages of our reception guests and he made sure to create a playlist that hit the older and younger generation, so the dancefloor was always bumping! I’d recommend Alex as a DJ for anyone in the Rhode Island area, but definitely recommend the disco ball set up with him!”
