After pursuing a degree in fine art with a concentration in graphic design and working in the industry I took an opportunity to open a restaurant and market with my mom. As fate would have it, that business lead me to grow my baking skills and I later combined that with my desire to create fine art and started Gingerspice Bakery. Just as weddings are a team collaborative effort so is my process with you. I want to know what you love — what inspires you — to create something memorable and one of a kind for your dream wedding.

Jake’s was founded by three plucky folks in 1999 in Atlanta, Georgia. Each believed that Atlanta, and the world, needed a better choice for ice cream. Laura Curtis, a Culinary Institute of America grad, was working as a R&D chef when she made her first batch of bright pink, tart & fruity Raspberry Hibiscus marshmallows. Her husband suggested she name the new amply fluffy creations Malvi, short for malvavisco, the Spanish word for marshmallow. She created Malvi Mallows using European-Style butter and Fair-Trade chocolate to make Malvi cookies extra rich, and dried hibiscus flowers, locally roasted espresso, whole vanilla bean, and organic Georgia peanuts to maximize marshmallow flavors, then built a business so that everyone can party s'more.
