“Amazing! We found Rick through the venue list of recommended vendors (we got married at The Wellshire). We reached out to a few DJ companies.. we filled out several long questionnaires, some companies never responded, others wanted 1 hour calls to ask questions (literally a phone call version of the questionnaire which didn’t really make sense), some companies had us speaking with a different person each time we sent an email. A non-negotiable to us was knowing our actual DJ. All the companies we reached out to (minus Rickochet) had multiple DJs with no guarantee of who we’d get for our wedding day. We filled out the info form on Rickochet’s webpage and were contacted within an hour. Most of that initial discussion was around topics outside of the info form. Rick himself is the DJ and all communications came from him directly. We loved that. He had such good energy, was professional but also kind and easy to talk with. We had a handful of calls leading up to our wedding and Rick was always so helpful, letting us know areas we didn’t need to worry about and that we could just give him basic info and he would take charge (as a bride planning my own wedding this was a huge weight off!). He has a portal that was easy to use and navigate where we filled out all our details. The day of the wedding, Rick was the vendor to check in with us the most. And we say that in the best way! He would check how we were doing, let us know what was next up (like if it was time for speeches) and if we were ready for him to move our guests that way or if we wanted a few minutes- and if we asked for a few minutes, he’d still come back after those few minutes and check back in if we were ready before moving along. That was so thoughtful and shows that he really cares for his couples. We also had their photo booth at our wedding and it was such a hit! I feel terrible as I cannot remember the attendant’s name who ran the photo booth but she was magnificent! We’re trying not to make this review too too long :) but there’s many things we loved and appreciated about Rick. You can tell through his behavior, communications, dedication and attention to couples and the details that Rick takes pride in his work, loves what he does and the couples he works with. If we had to go back and do it all again we would definitely hire Rick.”

Justin handled all of the audio for our wedding ceremony and has an amazing wireless, battery-operated set-up so there is no need to rely on a generator, which was great since we were outdoors on top of a mountain! He had a mic on the lapel of the groom and our officiant so that I, as the bride, did not have to worry about wearing one and between the two mics all of the ceremony audio (speech, vows, etc) was picked up flawlessly. At the reception, Justin had an awesome set up that looked super clean and modern but also had fun lighting to get the party going. He was an excellent MC for all of our big announcements and could perfectly read the crowd to keep the dance energy up. His wife, Lesley, was also wonderful as the photo booth attendant. I knew we would get copies of all the photos taken, but coming home with all the photos arranged in a guestbook signed by our guests was a nice touch! Highly recommend, they are a dream team.”

“Our DJ and the A Music Plus team was fantastic. Our venue was untraditional in that we had the entire rustic property for the weekend and one of my favorite things about a wedding is the dancing. I did not want to be constrained by a certain time the DJ would stop playing if I wanted to keep dancing with my favorite people. We also needed sound equipment to be provided. Surprisingly, this is difficult to find in the entertainment industry and if you do, it costs an arm and a leg or they begin charging by the hour, making budgeting exceedingly difficult to account for. Initially we were planning to make Spotify work with some speakers! But then we found A Music Plus. They were amazing! A Music Plus worked to make a contract and timeline that worked for US and was tailored to what was most important for our day. They were professional and responsive leading up in the final months of planning. But most importantly, they were a blast. Our DJ was comfortable on the mic when it was needed but didn't steal the show. He transitioned music seamlessly from cocktail hour to dinner and dancing and then really shined when we wanted to let loose and dance until 2AM. The vibes were spot-on and he picked songs that could actually be danced to and enjoyed! Thank you for making so many of our wedding memories possible!”
