“My daughter had her reception here last weekend. There are no words to express how absolutely incredible everything was and how much we loved the Mendenhall Inn and everything about it. There are so many things to list: the excellent food, amazing service, beautiful new bridal suite, gorgeous patio for post reception gathering, cocktail hour in atrium, stunning ballroom, etc Every single aspect and detail of our event was well above and beyond our expectations. We had many people in our party stay at the Inn. Many renovations have been made and the Inn is gorgeous. Our family and guests have described this past weekend as a big family reunion, a warm gathering of love and joy, and all have absolutely raved about the Mendenhall Inn. Gianna helped to plan our event. She was very supportive, responsive and organized throughout our year of planning. She is the absolute best! “This property was beautiful, and the owners were wonderful to work with! Nestled in Chadds Ford, PA, the BnB is right next to Longwood Gardens and within 45 minutes of King of Prussia Mall (for any last-minute wedding shopping necessary, as it turns out we needed!). The wedding package we purchased included the entire BnB (6 rooms) for the bridal party, as well as the grounds to host our ceremony and/or reception (we did both!). Brad and Cindy did an amazing job of making sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying our stay, and the grounds ended up being absolutely stunning for our wedding day. They also have extras available to add-on to your package, as needed (tent, outdoor patio heaters, pew seating, and a super cute shutter altar set up!). Normally, venues in the Chadds Ford/Brandywine area are super expensive, but this one was not only affordable but very worthwhile!!! Thank you, Brad and Cindy!!”

“Getting married at the Christiana Hilton was a great decision. We loved the smaller ballroom so we could have an intimate wedding. The ceremony space, ballroom and hotel in general was beautiful. The food was delicious and we keep getting compliments from our guests. We had our rehearsal dinner there as well and that food was awesome as well. It was so convenient to arrive Friday afternoon and not have to leave until Sunday. And Katie made it so much easier than I expected. I did not want a venue where I had to do all the work and Katie made it so I did the bare minimum a bride can do and still got a beautiful and personalized wedding. It was a perfect day and weekend!”

“General Warren was incredible, helpful, communicative, accommodating, and in all ways wonderful to work with. The space was beautiful, the food was delicious, drinks were lovely, the staff were so friendly and attentive. Their event manager Patrick was amazing, he made sure everything was perfect and that all our guests were satisfied. My husband is gluten free and they went above and beyond to communicate the options and make sure that his dining experience was safe without inconveniencing or restricting the rest of our party. “First and foremost I have to recognize the staff who worked the event at the hotel. Katrina, who is the event coordinator, was wonderfully communicative and detail oriented. We wanted to keep things relatively simple for our wedding but she had some great ideas to spruce things up a bit and helped to keep us on track leading up to the day of. The evening prior and on the day she was helping us set things up and made sure to keep our chaotic group on schedule. Not only that she was extremely helpful in managing the group, helping to cue and time our processions and intros into the dining room after the ceremony. She also added a personal touch to the centerpieces by arranging some fresh flowers we'd brought in and I thought the result was lovely. As important as Katrina were all of the wait staff and bartenders for our wedding. Jordan, Dawn and Dinnea took care of dinner service and Doug and Debbie tended the bar. We interacted with Jordan, Doug and Debbie the most but we've spoken to friends and family who agreed that the service was excellent. I want to call out Jordan specifically because that dude was constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed from drinks to food. On top of all of that he was just one of the most pleasant and kind humans we could have asked for to take care of us that day. We'd also like to extend a big thank you to the whole group as we had some late arrivals who came in during dinner time. The staff immediately noticed and without any fuss went over to get their order and get them served. We had opted for a Delmonico steak and salmon as our primary entrees. Note that because of the volume of guests the Delmonicos were all cooked to somewhere around medium. I can't vouch for everyone's steak but mine came out perfectly medium. As far as I can tell from catching up with friends and family during and after the wedding everyone was pleased and really enjoyed their meals. We also really enjoyed the atmosphere that was created. We ended up choosing the Orchid(?) package, if I recall the name correctly, which is their all inclusive package and I think it was worth every penny. I really enjoyed the up lighting and hotel provided centerpieces but I can see how if you have a different vision in mind then you may want to opt for a different offering. On top of the work they did in the space the hotel has a couple of outdoor seating areas, one of which has a fire pit, that were favorites of the group to take breaks from the party rocking inside. Ultimately the most important part of our wedding day was to unite our friends and family in one place where we could party and then not have to worry about transferring from the reception venue back to the hotel. As far as we're concerned Katrina and her staff delivered on this want magnificently. From the maintenance of the hotel and event space, to the friendly and thoughtful staff, to the convenient location for our friends and family; we could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding day.”

“The Warwick Hotel is an historic Philadelphia landmark that combines both an incredible location right off of Rittenhouse Square and picturesque architecture and design making it an ideal spot of weddings and other events. David Lyons, the Banquet Manager, is the definition of "not all heroes wear capes." Our story is unique in that our original wedding venue flooded three days before our party. In a frenzy, we called every venue we could find. When my wife spoke with David, he was calm and collected, got our information, and promptly looked into hosting our event. When he called us back saying it was possible, we went to see the space. He put together an estimate before we arrived and we signed on the spot after a brief tour. David has tons of experience with weddings and events and his confidence to put on our party in such a short turn around gave us the calm we needed to enjoy our special day. He even matched a lot of the original food options we were offering at our original venue. The landmarks nearby offer a variety of nice backdrops not to mention the space itself for fun photos. The main ballroom is a great size for a large band, great size dance floor, food stations or a sit down meal and a large guest list. As the bride and groom we were also given a complimentary stay in the presidential suite! A much needed rest after the stress and excitement leading up to our event. We had an emergency and David put out the fire and went above and beyond to make our event run smoothly. I can't say thank you enough to David and the staff at the Warwick for saving our wedding party!”

“The Hotel Palomar went above and beyond for our wedding weekend in the spring. We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and morning after brunch as well as our room block at the hotel. The even coordinator, Erin S. and the entire team involved went above and beyond every step of the way. Five months before our wedding, I had to have major surgery and quarantine for two – three months after. I was unable to attend our food tasting but my fiancé and both sets of parents went on my behalf. Erin was not only understanding but supportive as my own family and friends were – checking in and celebrating with me after the surgery. When the tasting came, the chef sent home full-sized portions for me to try at home. This was in addition to the full-sized ones my family tried as well. The entire staff was there to answer any questions from me or our family. We had several dietary restrictions which Erin coordinated with the chef on our behalf to make sure those guests were included without having to worry. We had a memorial table as well as several things to be set out (guest book, favors, name cards, etc.). I gave all these items to the team and it was fully taken care of for me and they even knew which favors were to be for gluten free guests. Erin provided a list of pre-approved vendors they had worked with before (we didn’t have to use these) and we ended up using a lot of them. Erin coordinated with them directly as needed, photography locations for if it rained and DJ timeline. Due to the top tier efforts of the entire hotel, we were AHEAD of schedule the entire weekend which really allowed everyone to be fully present. My bridal party and I were in the suite for preparations and they continued to go above and beyond. We had a team member bring us our food and coffee order and he was so accommodating. He brought iced coffee when I mentioned that’s my preferences and we talked about our pets since I had my dog with me (as did several of our guests). Our guests were also well taken care of – from unpacking cars for their stays to helping our vendors get to their locations. I would sit here and list every name of every person that I felt were stars but honestly, it was the entire team. Everyone I encountered the whole time was a five star person. I cannot recommend this location enough for any occasion including just a regular weekend stay in Philadelphia.”

They were present, intentional, flexible, and at times even borderline protective of me and my family. And that’s anything a bride could ever ask for. I couldn’t be more grateful. As far as the planning process goes: as a project manager, I very much appreciated the explicit, direct nature of their policies and procedures. After offering me several tours of the venue (MOB was from out of town and MOG wanted to see it on separate occasions) and answering all of my many many questions via phone and email, we had several formal meetings to comb through all the details and make sure we were on the same page. Maddie was able to help me delegate and manage my expectations, especially when it came to who was responsible for what, and even then bent over backwards to help me and my bridal party with day-of tasks. We held both events in the upstairs banquet room, which worked great with our numbers (about 40 rehearsal dinner guests and an additional 50 welcome party attendees), as everyone had enough room to walk around and mingle.
